I was able to stop my panic attacks by treating them like ptsd symptoms, when I felt like I couldn't breathe or felt like I was having a heart attack, I would try to make the symptoms worse, it is scary at first but will eventually cure you, similar to exposure therapy, basically facing your worst fear, tried the breathing and meditation and although good for you, did not help with the panic attacks

Some really interesting insights into what panic attacks can be and how many different ways they can manifest themselves. Thanks, Aimee, for being so open and generous! Good work too from Ellie!

funnily enough my limerence experiences induced panic attacks - same symptoms as this lady describes and I remember one that I genuinely thought was a massive heart attack, thought I was 60 seconds or so from death. It's hell.
    Thanks to yourself and guest...

You just described my symptoms. They happen at random times which made me scared to go out and enjoy things like I used to because I never know when it’s going to happen again..

@@NadineMoussaTuber94 Yes, I used to be on medications a year ago but after a while i felt kinda better and I stopped taking them because I also didn’t want to be too dependent on them. I thought i was getting better but the Panic attacks came back and recently I started experiencing derealization so I’m gonna schedule an appointment with my psychiatrist again as soon as possible :/

Aimee I think you did great explaining through it alot of times for me if I'm trying to explain what I'm feeling it makes it worse but like you said different things work for different people. Having someone there helps alone is tough. Stay safe my friend your doing great 👍

Lying down on your back with your body stretched out calms the shaking. Just take deep breaths and watch something to focus on. Get into whatever your watching Stay focused, it helped me, I hope it helps you. Calamine tea helps as well.

You are never alone, I know it can feel that way sometimes, but God is always there, and so are others. Anxiety is a feeling, and a variety of symptoms and sensations. But your here, you will be just fine. Somehow I know your a strong person. Remember after every storm, there’s a rainbow 🌈 stay strong!! Your in my thoughts and prayers!!

In your professional opinion is it normal to feel anxious for over a week, I live in Ireland and at moment we are getting a major heatwave would you say I'm anxious over the heat or would think anxiety is becoming more permanent for me and I should start taken antidepressants?

It's is ok to be anxious for a month even, and that's ok. Clear your mind from the stuff you can't control, and yoube good.
