- When I started playing RC Crawler a few years ago, I really liked metal tube chassis, especially those like the American King of Hammers racing cars.( • Winner | JASON SCHERER... ) The actual cars fit the desert off-road and rock climbing environment, and the roughness and engine power structure attracted me even more. But the ones I could find on the market were either too expensive or I didn’t like the style, so I came up with the idea of making it myself.So I bought an argon welding machine(TIG) with my friend Bruce. This is my first tube chassis that I welded by myself. In order not to be too heavy and affect the climbing ability, we chose a hollow Stainless tube (5mm). However, because the wall of the Stainless tube is very thin (1mm), we must pay special attention to avoid breaking the tube wall when welding. Since I am not very familiar with TIG welding techniques, many of the solder joints are not very beautiful, but I quite like the creative process this time. In addition, I used special solder wire to weld some positions that are not stress points. This welding method is easy to perform and the solder joints are beautiful, but it is relatively weak. It is not recommended to use this method at stress points that may be impacted or rolled over.
This tube chassis is designed based on the car of Jason Scherer, the champion of King of Hammers 2018 and 2019. The actual car is designed with double A-arms in the front and straight axle in the rear. However, due to consideration, I don’t have double A-arms and parts that can lock the difference. (In order to take into account the ability to run and climb), I first planned it based on the TRX4 chassis and axle, which has a dual-stage gearbox and straight axles at the front and rear but can be locked. I hope that the completion will not be too abrupt.
I am just an amateur player. I used some scattered time to build this car step by step, so it took a long time to production. I record the production process here! I hope you will like it!

幾年前開始玩攀岩車時，就很喜歡金屬骨架車，特別是像美國King of hammers賽車的車型( • Winner | JASON SCHERER...
這台骨架是參考King of hammers 2018,2019的冠軍Jason Scherer的車子去設計的，實車是前雙A臂後直橋的設計，但是由於考慮我手上沒有雙A臂而且可以鎖差的零件(為了兼顧可跑與攀爬的能力)，所以先以有雙段變速箱與前後都直橋但是可以鎖差的TRX4底盤與車橋為依據去規劃的，希望完成時不會太過突兀。
我只是業餘的玩家，用一些零散的時間逐步的製作這台車，因此前前後後花了很久的時間，這裡紀錄一下製作過程!希望你們會喜歡!

On the last minute it's describe how to joint whole tube chasis?
What you use as the filler? Are you use general solder tin? Or other special filler?

My main frame is TIG welded, but I didn't videotape the process, so you didn't see the process. I will film the process next time. In addition, the last minute video was made using another special solder, which is less strong. I used it to weld at some points that are less likely to bear stress, such as the decorative parts.
