Hi... i am just getting to know this software and your video was awesome. I also saw the hard work and effort you have put in creating this video. I suggest you try Powtoon and Doodly next time to save efforts. I am an Instructional Designer and I found these s/w very good for creating such videos.

I've been teaching Tableau to university students for 3 years & this remains my favourite explainer video to give students to provide an excellent overview of the Tableau product suite. You are a fantastic teacher with a beautiful attitude Tableau Tim -- Thank you!
For video learning, voice is also important, in addition to quality of content. There was this other guy who said a 'ummm' every few seconds which was damn annoying.
Just stumbled across your content which led me to watch your review of the Dreamforce Tableau keynote. So impressed with the way you apply your expert knowledge and break it down for your audience.
Thanks so much for the concise review of Tableau,Tableau Tim! For this "old dog" who is looking to learn new tricks and make a career change, due to COVID-19, this video confirms...gaining these new skills is attainable!
I got a bdd module at uni I subbed straight after the video how couldn't I tim you presented this very well thanks a bunch for the effort you put in great video
Enough begging!!! Dude! Your presentations are amazing, considering I'm a teacher myself! I did not only subscribe, like and comment but also shared your lectured to a related group, already. GOOD LUCK!
Yes covered the introduction in brief. Great. I did more than 150 hours of learning on tableau and 50+ hours of practice. This is a great tool for visualization.
This incredible video inspired me to start creating tutorials on RUclips! Tim is a brilliant and wonderful person. He has an amazing talent for simplifying complex topics ❤ Let's go Tim nothing left to hit 1 Million 🚀
Great video - I have a data engineering interview coming up and this is a great basis for starting to understand tableau. This was awesome, thanks for the great content
I’m here doing some basic brush ups on the fundamentals- reminds me how much I think this platform (Tableau) will become a practical fave tool I need to master over time. Thank you for your awesome tutelage. I will check out your other vids indeed🌺
What an awesome video, Tim! I've always been intrigued by data analytics but have never been able to contextualize it and how it is used. You have done all that in this one video. Well done !
Thanks, Tim! Very nicely demo'ed. I work in IT. I've been around a long time. The problem is, every 6 months or sooner, whatever software you became proficient in, is outdated. Something new again. I'm exhausted from constantly learning and feeling like a child about to have a meltdown. If you take a break of a year from IT, you are outdated. I should have become a vet. Germs don't mutate this fast. How do others keep up? And for all you young people out there feeling superior, stick around. Try raising your kids, holding down IT jobs and keeping up with the changes. It is really exhausting. Sometimes you want to get off the merry go round. In the old days, when you acquired a new skill you got to use it and become really good at it. Not any longer. You are expected to know many more automated packages, there is less skill in your craft, and the only constant is change.
I feel you. I’ve been consulting for a decade, recently have 2 kids under 2 and I think because I picked up Tableau / analytics when Tableau was the underdog, I’ve always had to learn new things all the time either in Tableau or other tools. One of the reasons I make the videos on this Chanel is to help keep people up to date. If you check out my recent videos and shorts you’ll see I’m always covering updates so if your start with Tableau at least for Tableau I can say there not just me but many others trying to make sure the knowledge gap always stays manageable and within reach if you want to close it.
My first time seeing a Tableau video. I still don’t understand why or how to use other than somebody decided to put some of our data and now I’m trying to figure out how to run reports. It’s so complicated that most people I know either avoid it or find someone who can run a report for them. Your video was well done. Loved the graphics.
My crash course might guide you on how to build something but yes working with data initialy at the beginning can seem complex but I do my best to simplify things. ruclips.net/video/-Aj8IlC0IEA/видео.html&lc=UgxxXbNIZzdHYIQLZD94AaABAg
