Imagine if someone cut in half way to resume a football game etc.. they'd be hissed and booed off stage.. this is far more athletic, creative and interesting to look at.
Cheerleading was granted provisional status 3 years ago by the IOC which is the first step in trying to make it a full Olympic sport. It's expected that the ICU (International Cheer Union) will petition for full status for the 2024 games in Paris. If you're interested in the format and style I would look up ICU World Cheerleading Championship. It's a little more like UCA College than NCA College or All Star.
LaDarius is a beast! You can definitely tell on his face that cheer is his home. I wish I can meet these talented people. What a legacy cheer has for people this talented💗

I remember seeing a wildcats NCA nationals show off while my team was in texas for nationals, and I remember actually being brought to tears by their performance. Like actual tears. These girls and guys were my IDOLS
You learn it in pieces (pyramid, stunts, tumbling sequence, dance etc.)and put it all together, learning each part is easy, putting it all together for those 2:30 is hard lol
I LOVE when teams use boy flyers!!! My team 10 years ago had three boy flyers and when they did their baskets that part of the routine had the song “it’s raining men” it was the best thing everrrr I miss it so much 😭😭❤️❤️
Ok so I’m just sitting here smoking checking out RUclips and I was brought here. Maybe it was the bud or whatever but I was yelling and rooting for them. I LOVED seeing all the other teams in the background appreciating a great routine. That’s sportsmanship!

That's the point. I'm a cheerleader and more the people the more they can mask up the mistakes. Not saying that they have any mistakes, but I have 39 other people on my team and the mistakes like when a girl falls during tumbling or jumps it's quite easy to fix it.
So this could be wrong, but when I cheered different judges watch for different things. Also, it was recorded, and judges would watch it multiple times, and I think they could slow it down if needed to see if there was a mistake made. But yeah, it would be insanely difficult to judge this!
Everything about this is incredible, from the choreography to the dancing to the energy to the sheer fun. So much planning and practice must have gone into this. Just stunning. I hope that the RUclips proceeds all go to these amazing athletes.

Awesome routine these kids worked hard, you can tell! These tumblers all are awesome! Our Granddaughter did Competition Cheer and they went to World Cheer !She was their best tumbler! She did get invited to The Bowls ,twice to one and once to The second Bowl!
Pretty amazing. Never was a fan of cheerleading, thinking just pom poms and chants but then I started watching the competition side, pretty cool. Got my little daughter in it at 6, no flips yet, ha.

I just watch Cheer Boys!!, and for a person who never watched cheerleading in his life, watching an anime of cheer then a real pro team performance really overwhelms a person. They were spectacular!
These young people preforming this are all world class gymnasts in their own right!! They just don't have to be constrained by a precise set of rules that competition gymnasts do. I LOVE watching Olympic gymnastics from Olga Corbet to the great ones now. But here, watching this makes the regular gymnastics almost boring!! Was beyond excellence
