I've watched my daughter from age 5 to currently age 19 (Cheering in College and On UCA Staff) Go through ENDLESS trials and tribulations, broken bones, bruises, bumps, concussions, multiple championship competitions, MANY MANY TEARS and so much more! She has worked her butt off harder than anyone I know! NOT ONLY is Cheerleading a sport, but IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE MOST DIFFICULT SPORT THAT EXISTS! ❤

Gabi Butler has been my fav for a long time but Cheer Athletics where theyre from is one of the best as is cali allstar who has a show on youtube. It made gabi famous and then she went to navarro which is the netflix show cheer was on and where she is in florida is top as well. Cheerleading is a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics and weightlifting (instead of actual weights, its people). This is more difficult than basketball or American football in my opinion. How is it not a sport?
Okay so I’m so happy that they’re getting this opportunity and this is totally amazing for them they 100% deserve it BUT I wish the judges would’ve read up on what was going on a little more (we all know there are producers for the sake of such things) but it was almost like they were undermining what they were doing by 1. Referring to them as a dance team 2. Asking what team they cheered for And I get that some people don’t know these things, but they should have
