When you were at Kennywood with the other media folks, Ch 4 aired a couple shots with you in them. The shots weren't up close or detailed but enough that you were recognizable.
Nice! free advertisement is nice. The bagger vlogs are growing in popularity. I can only imagine how many people now recognize him.
I went back and looked at some news footage regarding Kennywood posted over the last couple of days and found him. In one video he's blurry and far back, but another is basically following him. Made my day though. 😄
Ooooh neat lol, I'll have to check those out
That's super cool. .wonder if he will get to see the clips
My Dad was born in Pittsburgh in 1930, so that miniature depiction of it before 1940 was particularly interesting to me. Dad passed in 2016, and I couldn't help but wonder how much he would recognize. The Titanic is also endlessly fascinating to me. When the exhibition came to Chicago back in the 90s, they had the largest piece of her hull brought up. I stepped over the rope barrier and touched her hull. I was quickly dissuaded by the employees from doing that, but they didn't kick me out. One even told me he knew exactly how I felt. I will never sail on her. I will never walk on her deck, and I will never sleep in her state rooms. But I did touch her and that was good enough for me.
I always like your comments. 😅😊
Kenny Baker who played R2D2 was from Birmingham, UK, my home town 😊.
Kenny also plays the old wizard who is willows mentor. He's pretty awesome .
He was also Fidget in Time Bandits.
I'm sorry I killed you, Fidget 😅@@katenunyabizness9221
I looked it up; he was Paploo the Ewok in Star Wars RotJ 😎✌️
I love the year of the pressed penny! Love having a year dedication to something. ❤❤❤
Crow n Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theatre, the ultimate cult favorite show, were hilarious!!! Loved them!!!
Carpetbagger meets THE ROBOTS. Those Marvels of The Mechanical Age!
im still wanting a carpetbagger collectible that is a fox holding a snow globe which has a shark inside so we can say rosebud chaos reigns like dolls eyes.
And a Kewpie! Don't forget the dreaded KEWPIE!
The train layout was amazing!
I wish I could see that in person, it looked so cool
Good Eye, Robby, and B9 are similar because they were constructed by the same team. Robby actually makes an appearance in Lost in Space.
My Father would have loved this train layout he was BIG into trains 🚂 ❤
Another great one from the Carpetbagger. Thank you sir
20:03 looks like my mortgage , i am going up the river!
Excellent video Jacob love the robots. Take care my friend and safe travels.
Love 2024 being the year of the pressed penny, which I STILL use that term of identification for that wonderfully collectible souvenir. I have Always loved collecting them, n the fact that they now have a collection album for them is AWESOME!!! VERY cool 😎 museum tour. Railroad with iconic local amusement parks represented was too cool as well!!!
It's awesome but still love the years of Carousels more ♡♡♡❤
We went to the Titanic traveling exhibit when it came to Rochester. We also went to the one in Orlando Florida. I want to go to the one in Gaithersburg.
It's actually in Sevierville, not Gatlinburg
2:51 It is Spring Break for the public school system in some states, so that is why it is crowded.
I watched that show all the time as a kid loved it..lost in space. Keep doing what u do lov your chann❤.u r living my dream.tommy from cincinnati
Very cool museum! Loved the 1950s robots. My husband collects models of them and we have all (plus more 😂)
Good morning!!
I know my dad he remembers on TV Show for B9 the robot from lost in space since he was a kid 😀.
I saw the submarine during my trip to Pittsburgh but I didn't get to visit the submarine or the museum. But I did visit the Bird Aviary in Pittsburgh.
6:46 About two years ago, I went to this museum in Pittsburgh PA and could not get on the submarine, not due to bad weather, but due to overcrowding and sold out tickets to the submarine.
Morning Jacob thanks for sharing this. Robot 🤖 Hall of Fame and Titanic exhibit. Have fun. Thanks for sharing this with us. 🤓✌️📸
Welcome to Pittsburgh Jacob! Great video! Thank you for taking us along with you on your adventures. Love your videos!
That diorama is unbelievable! Wow!😮
Hope you're dodging the flooding and bad weather!!
It almost seems to follow him. 🤣
My favorite robot was Johnny 5. lol
12:38 my child hood on vhs. he was a gentle giant. 🎉
Thanks for taking us along on another awesome adventure, Jacob! 🙏🏻❤️💐💐💐
Hey, now, HAL 9000 wasn't evil or sinister. He had conflicted programming. Before the mission, without consulting the programmers, the top brass added a new directive to HAL's programming: Success of the mission is the most important thing. It superseded his directive to protect the crew. To his best judgement, the crew was a danger to completing the mission, so he got rid of the crew.
Robby the Robot and the train made this awesome! Great video Jacob
Happy trails to you .. until we meet again
Nice one of my local museums
28:45 Wow! You're buffed!
You are cool 😎
Thank goodness it's Jacob.👍
Good Afternoon " YA ALL " Jacob
Very cool adventures Jacob that you got taking us along❤❤❤❤❤❤❤loved it all❤❤❤❤
great timing with all the flooding, hopefully when you come back later to visit kennywood it will be better.
Crow and Tom Servo started riffing bad movies on a local UHF channel in 1988, went national on the Comedy Channel/Comedy Central for six more seasons, then moved to the SciFi Channel until August 1999. They and Joel (later Mike) watched not just science fiction, but also spy, horror, crime, and other types of movies. The show was rebooted with new cast members on Netflix, in 2017 and 2018, returning yet again via the Gizmoplex platform, from March 2022 into 2023.
When people ask me what my favourite movie is, Iron Giant is the one that comes to mind
The museum of natural history in nyc. Haven't had a chance to go since a high school field trip!
I had to stop to watch this video. It is an awesome experience.
Thanks Jacob ❤️
Nice job jacob .. you always cover pittsburgh very well ..thank you for the videos and happy travel to you and jenn
Really love the robots. I remember when I was alot younger me and my daughter went to robot world in the dells and we just loved it.I don't even know if it is still there probably not it used to be a part of the Tommy Bartlett water show but that closed several years ago. Great memories from that whole experience.
We went to RobotWorld when I was a teen too. First time I'd ever seen green screen video games in person. It was one of my favorite things we did on a 2 week trip through the Mid-West/West.
I really enjoyed this video, Jacob! 👍👍👍👍 I really like the Carnegie Science Center. I really like the model train layout.
So awesome hope my daddy’s looking down at this 😊😊😊😊😊
I LOVE me some RCPO! And The mystery science theater robots ❤️❤️
This is a good video. Thank You Jacob 🙋🏽.
22:01 I saw a single rider on the Ferris Wheel
Am I the only one finding it mesmerizing that he couldn't simply match the heart beats lmao
Hell yeah keep running around my neck of the woods haha
Please watch The Iron Giant. It is such a good wholesome movie.
I love movies from the 30s 40s
Me too. Old Hollywood is the best
We Did the Titanic Artifacts Exhibition! i learn my passenger didn't survive. either did my mum's.
I live in Washington State and my kids are currently on spring break. It feels like every school district choose their own week for spring break. It's not uniform across the country.
Danger danger 😂
Good morning Jacob! I would love to go and visit this museum in Pittsburgh. Hope you have a great day today!
So glad they included MST3K!
Great museum❤
In Pittsburgh we pronounce it Car-NAY-gee.
That was so funny hearing a room full of farts while you talked
29:22 For God sakes man keep your hat on theres children around!!!
Great video, thank you
I have been to this place in the past it's a good one
I love how well this video it put together ❤️ thank you Jacob 😊. 😭 i will cried myself out if i left my window opened during rain
NO JOHNNY #5 IN THE ROBOT SECTION!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!
Johnny 5 is Alive!
In Lancaster there is the Steamboat inn, building looks like a steamboat!
What a fun place to be.
Have you ever thought about going to Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County, Pennsylvania?
Aww Titanic❤ always a pleasure 🙏
Nice museum.!
i rember the exibit when it was in michigan.
3 snow globes and not one “rose budddd” lol
You need to watch the Iron Giant it’s a cute movie 😮
Fish vision was cool 😎
I think my goldfish can see better than that, though. They can recognize who in the family is likely to give them a snack. Then they start begging, or not, depending on who they see.
Come to Muskogee Oklahoma and see the USS Batfish. The most decorated United States Submarine from WWII. It is a really cool submarine to see.
Aww, I’m sorry you left your window down. 😭
Carpetbagger went LIVE late last night. He was concerned about TOTALITY and will the clouds mess up his cosmic Eclipse experience. And will all the Eclipse commotion cause Zombies and traffic nightmares. Not sure if there will be a Carpetbagger Eclipse party Live on this channel or not.
Kennedy Center in DC had robots of different size and amazing and educational. I saw the robot from Lost in Space in special area Air in Space with the Time machine from movie with Rod Taylor. I read and saw the movie Metropolis -cool statue. I have seen the Earth stood still and I did not know the robot was called Gort. I like the movie Iron Giant animation and good story.
Metropolis was a great film
Yay! I hoped you'd go to CSC!
Your coins may become collector's items some day now that the science center is being renamed.
Awesome video
I did a video on my channel some time ago about the Robot Hall of Fame, and I also visited the Titanic exhibit recently . . . Cool stuff . . . Thanks Jacob!
P.S. Did one on Kennywood last year too!!
They added Pluto back to the planet list after further study.
Well, good!
Since you mentioned Lakemont Park, the whole park is actually closed for the season :(
Definitely a place 😊 id visit
Of course, no historical robot display would be complete without the Lost In Space robot!!! Robbie was before my time, but I am aware of him. There also was a robot on a commercial for chocolate syrup in the 1960's called "Clanky". Don't know how to look him up.
Omg your car 😮
I know I got 6 of my friends to subscribe to you, but that's all the people I know, lol
That's more than I know. Good Job!! 😄
Maybe you should visit Oakwood Cemetery in Ohio now?
The real bad guy would be the Corporation that got cheap on the lifeboats
Also you should go to the infantry museum in Columbus ga it’s really cool and there’s no fee just donation only and there’s tons of things there
Lakemont Park, obviously the Schrodinger's Cat of theme parks
The stuff in the brain was grey matter, I think.
In Pittsburgh on the History center in Pittsburgh PA histories and you
Hello, Mr. Jacob.Last night you had a live session..." BUT" ,,,I DID NOT HAVE THE REGULAR ,"MESSAGE " OPPORTUNITY 😢?
Can you please go back to Idlewild park in Ligoneer this year. The one time that you went was during Covid and they had everything closed and everyone was weird.
