With him on the show, he and the lads could’ve had a great time, reminiscing on their moments on the sets, make references to the scenes from The Inbetweeners and even have more focus of the questions relating to the show.
Okay alright, clearly you just jumped in and said that _without_ even watching the reunion show, as Greg Davies does make an appearance. Prejudiced much?!

I was never expecting a brand new Inbetweeners episode, but I would have been happy if the special was just them and other cast members talking about their time making the show, similar to the Harry Potter reunion or Friday Night Dinner 10-year anniversary thing. What made it so bad was Jimmy Carr being cringey and unfunny, making them do a banal quiz with creepy looking fans of the show and like you said, treating them as though they actually were their characters. You could even see in Blake’s and James’ faces that they weren’t enjoying it.
Jimmy carr is 10x funny than inbetweeners ever could be. Inbetweeners was made for brainless morons with a low iq, dipshits that are actually stupid enough to find it funny and somewhat entertaining.
Exactly. Carr will always just take the spotlight because he’s such a big name. All they had to do was ask the guys the odd question and let them run with it.
The car segment was the best part easily. The reunion should’ve been just that, a lads road trip visiting set locations and mild reenactment (go to Thorpe Park for the fun of it) with appearances from other cast members on route. And yes, Greg Davies should’ve hosted.

Lads, I tell you one thing as simeone whose worked in tv and see how producers formulate ideas, just never under estimate their ability to go against everything they themselves have said about "creative" and "fresh" ideas continue to churn out the same dead, tired, pointless and dirivitive shit ideas because their either lack actual imagination or are too afraid to try something new because their stuck in a lowest common denominator loop
Have you even watched the inbetweeners fwemds is near enough in every episode
To be fair, if you want to see the four of them talking about the show, the extras on the DVDs have plenty of that. This reunion show looks like it sucked though, so I'm glad I missed it!
They are 4 very dull characters in real life which didn't help. Having all the minor characters there in the audience and feeding them dumb questions was cringey. Actually, just every single thing that happened in the studio was a cringey disaster.
What happened to uploading mate?
Jesus Neil Oliver..Neil FUCKING "turbo cancer" Oliver being a good bit says everything
When you hire Carr there's only one way it's going to go and that's taking the piss and having a laugh.
I remembered when this was being advertised and was thinking this was going to be one-off episode, but was disappointed when this was what we got, however I still watched it and it was decent even though there was some stuff that did make me cringe. It was watchable to an extent. But watching this video, I definitely agree that Jimmy Carr was the wrong person to host this, as many people have said, Greg Davis should’ve hosted it and I feel it would’ve got alot of a better response. I’m not hating on Jimmy Carr for hosting it, it’s not his fault, it’s just his humour didn’t mix with the reunion. I also didn’t realise how much James Buckley was actually hating being on the Fwiends Reunited show until watching this video
My brothers friend won Simons car but couldn't get it because he didn't have his licence at the time
People also didn't read what it was and expected an actual episode.
Did my guy really just say unironically "Don't know why friends has a W in it"???? Are you slow or just never seen an episode? 🤔
It was a major letdown.
It's like getting Ricky Gervais to host the Oscars
How can I watch this in America
Nah the 2nd movie was hardly satisfying, the first movie was
You don’t know why they put a W in friends? Didn’t you watch the show?
They don't say it with a W in the show though...
@@AndeePandeethey did
@Alex123491996 watch it again, they really didn't. They say ooh friend. Not fwiend
Damn who told carr that he's funny has blood in their hands
You should start making videos again pal
The problems is people like the character's in the show they dont like the actors playing them. Because theyre so good in the inbeetweeners everyone thinks thats what they must be like but there nothing like the character's in real life
James Buckley seems like a great guy
That is weird... It's like talking to Adam Sandler as if he was Billy Madison.
jimmy carr is a good host for panel shows but he shouldnt of done this its not really his fault its the idiots who planned it, they should have done a podcast style of the 4 just gossiping and shit.
I'm a movie geek and even I wouldn't take notice of a number plat except Back to the future OUTATIME and GhostBusters ECTO-1. I wouldn't have a clue of the number plate in Halloween. Now i'm gonna search lol
Impressive but also sad
“Don’t know why friends has a w in it”
Did you watch the show? 🤣
Bloody persona 5 music in the back
There was only one appropriate host for this show...
Y'all ready for this?
...the great Vanessa Feltz, of course!
Jimmy is so painful sometimes
Why don't you know why "fewnd" has a "w" in it? Have you seen The Inbetweeners? I agree that the programme was hopeless, though.
With the shit show of the Friends reunion cast too with James Corden being there I'm convinced they do this deliberately to stop people asking for new episodes or films of these popular shows
