Elusive has been spoiled. When you deal it damage it disengages and moves away. Which is terrible for Hank. It is two actions to clear if you can one-shot the enemy - move and attack. If you can't kill it in one shot it becomes four or more actions to clear.
That is definitely bad news for Hank. However, I suspect players will do everything in their power to make sure they kill the enemy outright if at all possible.
I am surprised Hank can play either ally. They are the main reason I thought Hank would be restricted to Survivor cards level 0 when they spoiled him months ago.
He will be very difficult to take down once he gets setup. I wonder if the Peter/Jessica pairing will become the default Hank build, or whether players will seek alternatives. We'll have to wait and see if there are any other options in The Feast of Hemlock Vale.
I can hardly think of a situation where Stouthearted is unplayed during a scenario. There are so many situations to play it... Like getting an enemy during mythos phase or simply kill a hunter enemy before it attacks you. Not to mention that it mitigates his weakness, since elusive doesn't make an enemy aloof, and moving damege to elusive monster doesn't make it disengage and run away. So you can move to the enemy with your weakness, move two damage to it as free action and then finish it off if it has more than 2 health. It can prevent you from running after the elusive enemy should it happen to have 4 health for instance. Strongly disagree with the statement that it is a "once per campaign" signature.
Vase was being a little hard on Stouthearted, IMHO. There are a few hoops to jump through, true, but transferring damage and horror from himself to an enemy is powerful. Nathan made a point during recording (which, unfortunately, didn't make it into the final cut) that Hank's agility is high enough that he could evade an enemy if necessary to set up Stouthearted. Evasion tends to be strong in solo, so I could see myself doing that.

Also, another investigator who has happened to draw 2 HP enemy during mythos, may evade it themself and you can address other issues in the location during investigator phase to kill this enemy during the upkeep. To cut it short, quite a lot of ways to play the card to call it situational.
He could use the Red Tarot to increase the Health and Horror values, could be useful

Can Hank use cards that "move" horror or damage from his investigator card to another asset? I can't think of one off-hand but I believe such exists.
Hank can be targeted by cards like Solemn Vow and Forbidden Tome: Dark Knowledge.
I was also hoping for some guardian cards, which would have made him insalny good. Now he seems pretty balanced.

No. Signature cards have no level.
