I worked for an architect that yelled at me if I opened Autocad or Revit if I hadn't yet sketched a Floorplan and elevations. Its just good practice to get ideas out and collaborate before doing anything digital.

There's something I don't understand. Like if there's a room that is 10 x 10 feet. How i am gonna show this measurement on the paper. Like by what measurement i should draw it on the paper to show the length of the room.
Great video. Funny, but there’s dinosaurs 🦕 out there that still draw houses by hand! I’m one of them. But the laser will get you put in a dumpster on the job site. Lovely idea, but in practice, not accurate enough for interiors!
Super useful video, truly; any chance you could do one about Rayon? I find their software super useful, but I am not sure that I am using it to its maximum; I used to work on AutoCAD, bu really Rayon is SO much better and faster

Nothing too precise, nothing fancy, just to see if items fit, and the spacr left over to build shelves and stuff... Ive read some harsh comments, but want you to understand that you are doing exactly what im trying to do!! SO, thank you!! JIST WHAT I'M LOOKING TO DO!❤
I am training to be an estimator we use Construct Connect and BlueBeam. Your videos are great. Estimating seems like a lot of detail and can't mess up one thing. You look different in this video
If you didn't end words with microsecond "ut" or "uh" like a Tiktok teenager, I might have been able to sit through more than 20 seconds of this video. It makes me not trust that you're a professional.
i crafted this video while being a full time student working three jobs. honestly I was at capacity that week and I didnt want to redraw it. I remember explicitly not having enough time on my hands to redraw. but being a small youtuber I felt a lot of pressure to keep pushing out content like clockwork every week. I have since learned quality over quantity but at that time i did not know this. So yes, it is a ROUGH hand drawn floor plan. but it also might resonate more w beginners anyway. I do encourage the redrawing aspect of it toward the end of the video.

Hmmm a lazer measurer never heard of it. Sounds super handy, does it work well with large spaces, like idk 100' x 100'.

Yeah instead of steel tape use Lazer it will save time especially in asbuilting building
Use foamcore board to build a scale model. Use 1/4” = 1’0”. It was easy. I built a real 32’ x 64’ house.
The model was only 16” long. Perfect.
