How to free up frozen or seized parts on antique machines. Bernina 730 with a Stuck Needle Bar.

This is a short video showing how to use a simple hair dryer to free-up or un-seize vintage sewing machine components. In this case, a Bernina 730 needle bar needs to be adjusted.

Great! I have a seized needle bar in a singer 4452. I may try this later. If this doesn't work for me, would you recommend maybe kerosene, alcohol, degreaser or even anti seize to get into those bushings of the needle bar?

Very welcome, I hope it helps. I think you could try any of those, maybe not a degreaser, don't know. But the MAIN thing is to get it good and hot, and it should start to free-up. Thanks!
