man this truck is crazy i am a professional semi truck driver the other day my peterbilt got stuck in snow and this truck pulled me out ... and yes my trailer was loaded
+martin joseph I believe it my buddy had a stock 2007 ram 2500 Cummins pulled my day semi with load over 73'000 pounds all together pulled it 15 miles with ease me and my bro had to do some illegal shit by stopping traffic and blocking traffic so he was able to make turns but we managed

I wish they would have put some padding on those arm rests. Personally I find them a bit hard on the elbow... but the stereo, at least in mine, is actually very good for being a base trim level. I genuinely was was expecting to not love that part, but it sounds very good.
this truck doesn't have 900 ft lbs of torque, it only has 800. only the 3500s with the Aisin transmission have 900. And a Mega cab review would be nice to see.
I believe it comes stock without chrome (which I think looks better) or cloth seats, which I think is GREAT because when you have dogs and kids vinyl is perfect if you really want a 'work truck'! Also Ram is like the only full size truck for us manual people so we can still have a real manual tranny. I've noticed some rams have a knob on the dash instead of a direct floor shift for the transfer case as well, something I personally would avoid. Overall a very cool truck!
+Jay Gerber Sorry I made a mistake in the video... only the 3500s with the Aisin transmission have 900 lb ft of Torque. www.ramtrucks.com/en/ram_2500/?sid=1037056&KWNM=%2Bram+%2B2500+%2Bspecs&KWID=43700005784372619&TR
MikesCarInfo I figured it was only for the 3500s, i just didnt know till your video they upped the torque again! Great news and thanks for the feed back. Great quality videos man. Keep it up!
Whats the price tag? My jeep has been paid off and is becoming less and less on road usable and I was looking at getting a truck to tow it with and have as a work/daily driver.
Hello Mike, I see your track has mechanical lever. What do you think is a lever better than an electronic actuator? I can't pick the right one up. p.s. great beast!
If you want my opinion, it makes little difference. I live in Michigan and use 4wd a lot so I would go for the electronic for the extra convenience but if you plan to use 4wd infrequently I would save the money by going for a manual lever.
and when you turn the key you have to turn it to run for the diesel glow plugs to warm up before starting. then its only 800lbs of torque. Which that beats ford and chevy. I really like my new ram 2500
900 pound feet of torque is only available on the 3500 with the Aisin transmission. Also I still use the red cap for my filler neck. Believe it or not the way that Ram has itset up it's a horrible design dirt gets in way to easy. They have great aftermarket caps for these trucks buying one next week. Overall good review!
+Chibu G Yes. The RAM 2500 has a "straight" or "beam" axle which has two shafts that distribute power to the wheels in 4wheel drive vs just free spinning in two wheel drive.
Just to make this know it is only 800lb of torque. The only way to get 900lb of torque is to step up to a 3500 with the cummins and then adding the aisin 6 speed auto transmission for an extra $2,595. The 2500 can only get the standard 6 speed auto and this limits the truck to 800lb of torque.
BRO that truck was so beautiful. I'd give my left nut, my good ear, my kidney for that. Only visuals i'd change would be : 1 ) roll pad rear bumper 2 ) brush guard and chrome delete on front 3 ) the largest tire without rubbing 4 ) smoked out lights front and back that would make this truck my ultimate dream truck.
Made in Mexico.. Dodge closed the plant in St.Louis and moved the production to Mexico...I won't buy a 2500 because of this...But the 1500s are made in Warren Mi..
they look nice, but I have had a lot of trouble with mine! It isn't a real diesel, a car engine that burns diesel. A real diesel has sleeves, and at least 743 cu. in.
+B A real diesel has sleeves! That is nothing more than a piece of s--t car engine that burns diesel. The DEF and electronics seem to be the biggest problem. I lost the turbo in it at 14K miles, etc etc, JUNK!!!
+JR Conner I'm saying its a big name because it been a proven product for years. So are you just saying the 6.7 is crap? Or Cummins as a diesel motor company?
the diesel sound is soooo beautiful :)
man this truck is crazy i am a professional semi truck driver the other day my peterbilt got stuck in snow and this truck pulled me out ... and yes my trailer was loaded
+John Trader Wow that is amazing!
*****
i was'nt lying !! semi trucks get stuck on ice and snow all the time perhaps if you drove those class A vehicles in winter you would know ..
My old crappy S10 pulled a 1997 F350 with an 8ft plow and dump insert out of a snow bank sideways with ease. Pretty sure this pig could do a lot more
Just put it in 4LO! It’ll pull most things.

Just bought this same truck 3 days ago! My first truck purchase! Ready to haul my horses!🤘 it's a sweet truck!
Nice one Mike! The newer RAM trucks are pretty nice and they have a good quality feel to them.
They do...that "quality feel" wears off quickly though.
This is my dream truck. Hopefully I get one in a few years. Want it in red to match my trailer
Im a ford man but damn this ram is boss and the cummins sounds like a bear snoring
thanks for the review mike also when ever you can find one do a review on the new 2016 ram 2500 limited.
I wish they would have put some padding on those arm rests. Personally I find them a bit hard on the elbow... but the stereo, at least in mine, is actually very good for being a base trim level. I genuinely was was expecting to not love that part, but it sounds very good.

reminds me of my ol' 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD
That´s a sweet truck
Thanks for a well explained review, you did a nice job.

So i take it the 900 lb of tourque is new for 2016!? Definitely a big number in the diesel class. Just awesome
+Jay Gerber Sorry I made a mistake in the video... only the 3500s with the Aisin transmission have 900 lb ft of Torque.

Hello Mike,
I see your track has mechanical lever.
Nice truck. I kinda like 2500 RAMs better than 1500. especially this one with these options.
+KeliBaB They are tough trucks!
Thanks for your videos. Great work.
Can you do 2016 Jaguar F-Type saabkyle04 doesn't have a video of that car?
can you do a review on the Infiniti g37xS coupe 2011-2013?
and when you turn the key you have to turn it to run for the diesel glow plugs to warm up before starting. then its only 800lbs of torque. Which that beats ford and chevy. I really like my new ram 2500
+James Maroon So the keys like any other key? Insert, turn, start
is the tradesman available in a mega cab?
No
You'll have to get a Bighorn addition or a Laramie.
+Jeffrey Borron Thank for the info Jeffrey!
Also my bad I didn't realize you commented on the 900 lb ft of torque already. Didn't mean to beat a dead horse lol! Keep up the great reviews!
damm nice. :) but sad 2 say if i got a new ram all that dpf & def & all the other bs things would be coming off..
MRJOHNDEERE3720 Amen I definitely agree
Nice one
Could you pull at 17,000 lbs toy hauler 5th wheel?
does it have live axle in the front?
+Chibu G Yes. The RAM 2500 has a "straight" or "beam" axle which has two shafts that distribute power to the wheels in 4wheel drive vs just free spinning in two wheel drive.
aight thanks man
Just to make this know it is only 800lb of torque. The only way to get 900lb of torque is to step up to a 3500 with the cummins and then adding the aisin 6 speed auto transmission for an extra $2,595. The 2500 can only get the standard 6 speed auto and this limits the truck to 800lb of torque.
+Shane Yadon Thanks for the correction :)
is beautiful truck
nice vid I like the truck but it does not have 900ft lb of tork.
Since your kinda somewhat in the 2016 year for these beautiful cars can you do the Lexus RC F
Stupid RUclips. Just got recommended this in 2020 and it made me think it was a 4 year ownership video. Derp.
BRO that truck was so beautiful. I'd give my left nut, my good ear, my kidney for that.
Only visuals i'd change would be :
1 ) roll pad rear bumper
2 ) brush guard and chrome delete on front
3 ) the largest tire without rubbing
4 ) smoked out lights front and back
that would make this truck my ultimate dream truck.
If you bought the base model, it would come with black plastic instead of chrome, and you would save money.
+Mel Laknanurak definitely would save some bucks, but black ones are steel bumpers. I plan on color matching mine.
hundai tucson 2016 please please we want it
+Omar Alsafii I am still looking for a decent Hyundai dealer.
Nvm I thought sabbkyle04 didn't have it sorry
Made in Mexico.. Dodge closed the plant in St.Louis and moved the production to Mexico...I won't buy a 2500 because of this...But the 1500s are made in Warren Mi..
mikes1joker they are moving production back to US in 2020
The Mexicans did a better job putting my Ram together than the Americans did on my F150.
So, yeah.
I have the same truck that I just bought and the towing compacity is 17980 lbs and it says it in the manual.
+James Maroon Thanks for the info
I have a Ram truck (2013) but not like this one
I can put fog lights
Hope no one is paying 51k for a tradesmen!
Your power numbers are wrong
I added a correction in the description 6 years ago.
🤦♂️
@@Steadierparkbro, fuck off with your arrogance
Dodge mother fuckin ram
...doesn't exist anymore.
Dodge ram
What can you haul in that tiny bed? Might as well get a Camaro
they look nice, but I have had a lot of trouble with mine! It isn't a real diesel, a car engine that burns diesel. A real diesel has sleeves, and at least 743 cu. in.
What sorta issues? And you talking sleeves in the cylinders?
+B A real diesel has sleeves! That is nothing more than a piece of s--t car engine that burns diesel. The DEF and electronics seem to be the biggest problem. I lost the turbo in it at 14K miles, etc etc, JUNK!!!
+JR Conner you said that first part already. And I could see you being a little upset with the issues you've had. But Cummins is a big name.
+B Doesn't matter how big the name, if you don't have a good product, it doesn't really matter!
+JR Conner I'm saying its a big name because it been a proven product for years. So are you just saying the 6.7 is crap? Or Cummins as a diesel motor company?
I spy an rx-7 FB
