Correct! I see lots of Solar guys recommend it. It is not good underneath tile! I either use 30-lb felt or layer of Synthetic Peel’n stick (eg. Boral Tile Seal or PSU 30).
Here is another tile job for the viewers , please do not allow your roofer to install Synthetic underlayment over the roof, please I beg you , that stuff is crap , real roofers use felt , 40 lbs felt or peel and seal SBS underlayment under tiles NOT SYNTHETIC CRAP. Real roofers don't use a nail gun to nail tile 🤣 and that mortar looks ugly specially in the valley 🤦♂️ and what about those ugly cuts on the Valley???
Do you also nail the flat tiles down? My roof has tiles sliding out and down the roof. I don't think they used nails as this is the second time the tiles have slid down the roof, The house is only 4 years old. Thanks

Maybe they used too short nails.
Do you have the psi turned down on the compressor when nailing the tile ?
Start as trial with a very low psi then increase it till u get the right penetration (head of nail smooth to the surface of the tile).
