They live long, because they live in harmony with their surroundings, with people, they eat only seasonal foods, vegetables and only unprocessed food.

Let’s go no alcohol, just nice iced tea and good food!
The Greeks were very poor for a long time and did a lot of foraging. Wild plants have a different chemical make-up from domesticated with more compounds to protect them from predators and those chemicals are thought to protect us as well. The Italians call this kind of diet "cocina povera", the food of poor people. Very little meat because of the high cost. We evolved to eat this way! 💚
Food looks delicious!!!
Bravo! Thank u for highlighting this wonderful plant based book!! ❤️ compassionate to animals and tastes wonderful!

It sounds pretty simple like you don’t have to go extreme as in vegan but go more heavily on the vegetables and beans and non-meat heavy dishes and use healthy oils. even in a lot of dishes in Japan they do have meat but they they use it for flavoring and it’s not like a whole chunk of meat on everybody’s plate like a steak.
Αχ, Ελλάδα...
A land free of McDonalds im sure 🙄
Matter of fact the only place you can find McDonalds is at the airport.
😊😊😊😊😊🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I’m pretty sure the people on this island eat fish and clearly yogurt and cheese, not just veggies.
Ahh no spaghetti with beans...h nope! Ice tea sounds good!
Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, it’s actually incredibly delicious!
I have that about every other day. If you want to vary it, you could use soup instead of pasta sauce. Have you heard of chili mac? Combining chili and pasta?
You guys are making too much of Ikaria! There other parts of Greece where people live long! Diane is doing this for fame and overdoing it, believe me!
