Happy Saturday Friend!! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead of you!! - Becky P.S. For the Corn Flake Cake - We used a bread knife to cut the cake and it cut perfectly :)
Oh Becky, you’ve no idea how much I needed to see you today. Thank you for being you and making me smile when things are not particularly joyful for me right now 🙏
The silicone cheese cake protector can be more than just one use. It could be used a a jello mold, since it can go in the oven it could be baked in, I'm sure other options are possible too. ❤ Enjoy your content.💐
Your silicone bowl could come in handy if you need to transport a glass or ceramic dish to a friend's house. It will protect the dish and stop it sliding around.
Just to add to the choir. I've made many different cheesecakes over the years, and early on, gave up the water baths with no deterioration in outcome. Maybe there is a very delicate type out there for which a water bath would be necessary, but I haven't found it thus far. 😊
Becky, just wow. Those desserts look like they belong in a magazine. You inspire me every single day. I have fallen in love with baking and cooking, and aspire to homestead like you, to feed my family with the best food I can. Thank you for your amazing videos. Not only do they inspire, but they are so well explained and informative. 10/10, every video! 💜
not so much overcooking in a waterbath; although 1 hour 40 minutes is a little excessive, but hey, I’m sure it came out delicious! The recipe did say to open the oven door.
I absolutely love that idea. For me the top usually gets ate as the baking tax lol Maybe with the leftover icing and/or ice cream when the cake is finished. :D
That is how I use the edges of the brownies than people prefer not to eat compared to the softer insides. The pudding and whipped cream softens them wonderfully!
Hi Becky, everything you made looks delicious. You are a great friend and anyone who has the privilege to be a part of your life is very lucky. Continue to be the outstanding person you are.
Hi Becky! I’m barely catching up on this week’s episodes but I had to comment on this video to tell how much I enjoy seeing your parents help with the potatoes. It takes a village! Family is everything ❤
I'm 100% wishing I could have some of each of those desserts. You are an angel on earth, Becky. May you continue to shine brightly and lift the spirits of those around you. God bless.
Hi Becky! As a cake decorator, I just had to comment on how good your cakes look! You've come a long way- they do look very professional!Definitely going to try your chocolate cheesecake recipe! Cake carriers or cake boxes make transport easier! Local craft stores or cake and candy supply shops) sell boxes by "each". If you get a cake cardboard at least 1/2" larger and a cake box of the same size, it's MUCH easier to transport, protects the whole cake from sliding into the side of the box, and looks more professional.- Just a tip in case you find yourself transporting many more of those decadent cakes!
I love how you just go with the flow by moving on to another solution. Those desserts look so yummy and professional! I don’t care what you say, you ARE a professional!
Morning Becky. I love the slippers. When you cook, you are so relaxed. I feel like I've pulled up a stool and am sitting opposite you. Thanks for being you.
You are inspiring Becky, your garden and flowers are beautiful, you look at life in a beautiful way we can all learn from you to be positive and enjoy the little things that make us happy 😊
Hi Becky, I love watching you work in and around your home and garden and especially your family holiday or other celebration parties. I have been scratch baking for many years and only recently discovered a homemade cake release recipe that I thought you might like since it is homemade and actually works quite well. I watch several home based bakers who create beautifully decorated and scratch made cakes who use this product and I only recently started using it myself. As an organic gardener and one who cooks and creates food from its basic origins I thought you might give this a try. Some call it “goop” and you may have heard of it already… 1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup butter or shortening Butter or shortening should be room temperature. Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a mason jar. To use just take a pastry brush and brush inside of pans and up the sides to where the batter will reach. I’ve used it several times now and all cakes have released easily. It is shelf stable if using shortening but if you use butter it will need to be refrigerated. Let me wife you have heard of this or use it and what you think. Thanks friend! Sharon McKendrick
Awesome recipes! I am so glad you bought a 9” springform and the 8” cake pans. I encourage you to buy whatever equipment you are missing and will use. This is your job after all!
I went to Wilton enterprise’s and learned from Wesley Wilton to cake decorate. I had a very prosperous business after that. It was a fantastic experience. Your cake looks beautiful!!! My husband loved helping me deliver my wedding cakes!!! Great Job Becky!!!❤
These look absolutely amazing Becky! You outdid yourself, young lady you should be very proud of these 👩🍳❤️🥂 you must have a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
The way you conquer your uncertainty when faced with new challenges is positively inspiring!! You are so much braver than I am! Your desserts turned out beautifully and looked soooo yummy.
hey Becky! to make the curls, start at the bottom of the chocolate edge and go up all the way the width to the end. just maybe d1 1/2 to 2 inches at a time(wide scraps). hope that makes sense
This comment inspired me to use the leftover coffee from this morning and make a homemade chocolate cake! So thanks @acrehomestead & @karenzelwnske8816
I loved all these recipes! A good trick if you’re not sure your pan is thick enough not to burn delicate recipes like caramel is to put a cast iron pan under your cooking pan. The cast iron helps disperse the heat more evenly.
I have always been impressed by how both you and your mother are able to pour the batter into two cake pans and get the same amount in each one! I seemed to get one bigger than the other all the time. Now I use my scale and find it a game changer for someone without your talent for even pouring.
I absolutely love your videos! They inspire, challenge, and truly make me wish I were younger when I had more energy! I actually made 4 loaves of zucchini bread yesterday at the same time! I was brave because of watching you!😊😊😊
I’m so proud of you, trying something new. I myself made caramel from scratch for the first time. It took four try’s, but I definitely learned something new.
Oh my goodness those look so amazing! I had a friend when I was younger and her and her siblings threw their Mom an “everything chocolate” party when she celebrated 10 years’ remission from breast cancer. I always thought that was such a unique theme! And delicious! They had a chocolate fountain and all kinds of cakes and treats like what you have here. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Becky! Greetings from Germany! I really really love watching your videos! When you pronounced "Kirsch" it was very good! I, as a native speaker didn't notice a mistake when you said it! ☺👍 What you did was a pretty modern interpretation of a "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte" and had very little of a traditional one but it sure does look tasty and amazing like all your cakes did! I think I have to try this recipe the next opportunity I have!
just a little tip from my Mom about room temp eggs, you can get warm water - not too hot - and warm them up in about 5 min if you forget to pull them out of the fridge.
This must be annual chocolate day - who knew? I watched your vlog as I made a chocolate hazelnut ice box cake today for a family get-together tomorrow. It is going to taste fantastic (I licked the beaters so I know) even if it doesn't set up enough for slicing. It is very decadent and very expensive but it will be a treat even if we have to pretend it is a trifle and eat it out of a bowl with a spoon. I normally avoid chocolate because it gives me headaches but I will take meds because I am determined to eat this particular dessert. Your friend is going to be blown away by your desserts.
Becky..I love watching you do all your cooking and baking. I made your Bagels today and for the first try they turned out very good. Thanks so much for all your wonderful videos.
Wow! These all look fantastic and must be delicious! For the black forest cake, the best thing to use are griottes (a.k.a Morello cherry). They are sold pitted, in glass jars. And it takes the cake to a whole new level. And, yes, kirsch is a must for a real black forest.
The dessert looks wonderful! You always do a great job! A friend of mine froze the chocolate and then used a spoon to scrape the chocolate into curls to put on the cake.
All three desserts turned out so well. They couldn’t look more beautiful if they came from a high end bakery! Please let us know how delicious they were.
My husband loved when I used to do a lot of cake baking, because he got to eat the pieces I trimmed to make the cake flat! All three desserts look fabulous Becky
Becky...Those desserts look flipping AMAZING!!!!!!!! I am definitely going to try making these around the Holidays!!!! Can't wait to see how you liked them!!! Thanks for sharing!!
My mouth is watering…😊❤Your desserts look amazing and delicious 😋!!!! There are so many books and classes out there, but the best way to learn is the way you are doing it, experimenting, trial and error and according to your taste buds. It helps though to have the right tools. Keep up the good work!!❤🎉😊
Oh my goodness Becky!! Those desserts look absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤. I am so craving chocolate right now. All I have is icecream sandwiches in the freezer so that will have to do. Thank you so much for sharing your time with us. 😊
Becky, here is a cake layer leveling tip that I learned when I was a baker- to level the cake layers, slice off the dome of the layer (like you did) then turn the dome side around 180 degrees so that the dome is now on the opposite side of the layer and reassemble. No fuss and no waste.
I always put a plate on top of the cake layers while they are still in the pans cooling. No dome to cut off and you can cut your cake in half no problem!
Happy Saturday Friend!! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead of you!! - Becky P.S. For the Corn Flake Cake - We used a bread knife to cut the cake and it cut perfectly :)
A video from you- always sweetens it- that’s for sure thx u!!!
Thank you ❤🌹. Hope you and yours has a wonderful weekend as well 😊
Oh Becky, you’ve no idea how much I needed to see you today. Thank you for being you and making me smile when things are not particularly joyful for me right now 🙏
Becky How did your friend like the desserts?
The silicone cheese cake protector can be more than just one use. It could be used a a jello mold, since it can go in the oven it could be baked in, I'm sure other options are possible too. ❤ Enjoy your content.💐
Your silicone bowl could come in handy if you need to transport a glass or ceramic dish to a friend's house. It will protect the dish and stop it sliding around.
No need for water bath. I'm a pastry chef
300 for 1 hour turn oven off let sit in over 1 hour.comes out prefect.😊
Yes, I never use water anymore.
I never use water either. Works just as well without and a lot less work.
Just to add to the choir. I've made many different cheesecakes over the years, and early on, gave up the water baths with no deterioration in outcome. Maybe there is a very delicate type out there for which a water bath would be necessary, but I haven't found it thus far. 😊
Becky you should take pictures of every creation you make. Be proud of yourself girl!
Becky, just wow. Those desserts look like they belong in a magazine. You inspire me every single day. Not only do they inspire, but they are so well explained and informative. 10/10, every video! 💜
When letting a cheesecake cool in the oven, make sure to crack the oven, don’t leave it closed. It will overcook!
Thank You for that tip because I'm wanting to do a pumpkin cheesecake and had never made cheesecake before.
its interestng because in an older video she did open the oven lol
not so much overcooking in a waterbath; although 1 hour 40 minutes is a little excessive, but hey, I’m sure it came out delicious! The recipe did say to open the oven door.
I save all of my cake trimmings in the freezer and when I have enough I make a trifle with whipped cream and broken up chocolate bars
I absolutely love that idea. For me the top usually gets ate as the baking tax lol
Maybe with the leftover icing and/or ice cream when the cake is finished. :D
@@BeaLily I also eat the leftovers or the trimmings! Lol
I've heard other bakers use it to make cake pops!
You can also
Combine
The cake
Trimmings with frosting and make
Truffles. Roll into balls and dip in chocolate
That is how I use the edges of the brownies than people prefer not to eat compared to the softer insides. The pudding and whipped cream softens them wonderfully!
They all look delicious! I can't wait to try them.
Girl, you WHIPPED IT REAL GOOD! 😂 Your friend is a lucky to have you & those delicious looking desserts.
Now I have that song going through my head rent free all night! 😅
Becky those are some very professional looking cakes. I knew you could bake, and bake well, but my jaw is still on the floor. Well done!
Beautiful work!!!
Phenomenal and I love your attitude and how open minded you are when preparing all of your mouth watering recipes.
Hi Becky, everything you made looks delicious. You are a great friend and anyone who has the privilege to be a part of your life is very lucky. Continue to be the outstanding person you are.
Aaah Becky, I was waiting for your vid. Not feeling well, and need this to take my mind off the pain. Blessings to all the ppl in this group ❤
Sorry you aren’t feeling well! I hope you are back at 100% soon!
Sending hugs 🤗
Thank you all ❤
Hope you are feeling better.
@@AliseL22❤
I love when you use your scale. Not only is there fewer dishes to wash, but it’s the only accurate way to measure.
These deserts look fabulous 😍
The flowers are so stunning!! With the over the top desserts and lovely bouquet your friend will be very blessed!
God bless.
Happy Saturday everyone 😀
OMG A Black Forest Cheesecake! I have not seen one of those for YEARS!!! You're gonna LOVE it!
My mouth is salivating! I'm in agony here wanting to sink my teeth in all 3 of those magnificent recreations!
They all look delish. Some photos of a piece of each at the end would be very helpful 🦋
It’s always high praise when someone asks you to cook for them. All of the desserts you chose look delicious.
Have you considered a catering business?
Hi Becky! As a cake decorator, I just had to comment on how good your cakes look! You've come a long way- they do look very professional!Definitely going to try your chocolate cheesecake recipe! Use a spoon to make chocolate curls. The bend in the spoon helps form the curls.
I love how you just go with the flow by moving on to another solution. Those desserts look so yummy and professional! I don’t care what you say, you ARE a professional!
Becky, you are simply the sweetest person. Thank you is for sharing your joy and your day. 😊
Becky these are one of the most beautiful desserts I've ever seen
Leveling your cakes gives you a quick snack lol
Morning Becky. I love the slippers. When you cook, you are so relaxed. I feel like I've pulled up a stool and am sitting opposite you. Thanks for being you.
Thanks Becky, your content brings such JOY! ❤
You are doing an excellent job, Baking is chemistry, while cooking is inspiration, imagination, experience, and creativity!

1 cup all purpose flour

Butter or shortening should be room temperature.
Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a mason jar.
To use just take a pastry brush and brush inside of pans and up the sides to where the batter will reach.

Thanks friend! Sharon McKendrick
Oops I made a typo…meant to say let me know if you have heard and what you think of it.
My goodness Becky you have my head spinning all three of those desserts are beautiful especially the one with the caramel cornflakes discs! 😊
Loved the cake. But how did it cut into slices as the caramel discs are so hard?
For a less expensive alternative, wrap your pan in a crock pot liner before wrapping in foil. No more wet crusts.
The caramel seized like that because the cream wasn’t added all at once, you added a little bit, then stirred, then added more.
I see the cherry compote over some ice cream…YUM!!
Awesome recipes! I am so glad you bought a 9” springform and the 8” cake pans. I encourage you to buy whatever equipment you are missing and will use. This is your job after all!

My mama always used leftover coffee for the liquid when she made chocolate icing/frosting. So that's what I've always done.
This comment inspired me to use the leftover coffee from this morning and make a homemade chocolate cake! So thanks @acrehomestead & @karenzelwnske8816
I always add coffee to my chocolate cakes. It makes them so good.
My husband said “only make chocolate cake like this now” 🥰🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely beautiful outcome on each one! Congratulations on your baking adventures.
If your mouth is not watering 😅😮 everything is so beautiful!!! 🎉🎉 Happy Birthday to your Bestie ! 🎉🎉 She is very blessed to have you as a friend!🎉
I love chocolate!! Thank you for sharing ❤!!!
Hi Becky, I'm so proud of you. Congratulations on your continuing journey of baking. You're doing great.
I loved all these recipes! A good trick if you’re not sure your pan is thick enough not to burn delicate recipes like caramel is to put a cast iron pan under your cooking pan. The cast iron helps disperse the heat more evenly.
Using a cookie scoop for the whipped cream is genius!
Yum! On these 3 recipes! Thanks, Becky! ❤❤
Oh man! These all were totally worth your efforts! What a beautiful assortment of yumminess!!!🤤🤤🤤
You definitely exhibit a high energy level! Good for you.
You did an amazing job on all three. You are so very talented Becky.🎉
Your "whip it, whip it good" made me LOL and now the song is in my head!
Beautiful afternoon with an iced tea and a Becky video 😊
I have always been impressed by how both you and your mother are able to pour the batter into two cake pans and get the same amount in each one! I seemed to get one bigger than the other all the time. Now I use my scale and find it a game changer for someone without your talent for even pouring.

Man if I could dive into your videos and try all of those desserts I would. They look amazing!!
Anything chocolate is a good thing. Hello Becky and all! 😊
WOW!! Beautifully done, Becky!! Those chocolate desserts look spectacular! I'll take a slice of each, please!❤😋🙏👑🕊
I’m so proud of you, trying something new. I myself made caramel from scratch for the first time. It took four try’s, but I definitely learned something new.
You’re a good friend, Becky. I wish someone would make me these desserts for my birthday!
You pronounced Kirsch correctly! It's also a great add to cheese fondue. 😋
Really? Because especially the i-sound isn't really how it's supposed to sound in German.
Oh my goodness those look so amazing! Those desserts turned out so beautifully!
Awrsome Becky looks so professional! Amazing what you 've accomplished!❤
I put a tblsp. of instant coffee to brown gravy to give it a dark, rich color. It's beautiful!
Those look fabulous. All I can say is WOW!

What a wonderful birthday gift that you will be giving your friend! She's one lucky girl.
Your desserts look wonderful. Love your attitude as well. The only way to get good at something is to do it! I’m sure your friend loved them.
They’re all very beautiful!
Becky..I love watching you do all your cooking and baking. I made your Bagels today and for the first try they turned out very good. Thanks so much for all your wonderful videos.
I need to get the everything seasoning. Then I too will be making them.

Hi Becky Friends!!
🙋🏻♀️
All cakes and pies are lovely!!
Hi Becky, instead of buying a turntable, you can use the turntable from inside your microwave, they work just the same!
Her's doesn't have one! I am always amazed by her microwave.
I mean this as a compliment
... as your food creations and Garden look amazing...
You are like the next Martha Stewart.
Happy Saturday Becky and friends!! ❤
Beautiful desserts! Have a relaxing weekend everyone. ❤😊
