We've had a freeze dryer for a few years now. We love using it for fruit. My favorites are strawberries and cherries. It's nice to do some meals as well. Not only for emergencies but because then you can have something home-cooked and healthy on those nights no one feels like cooking. Have fun!

Hi sweet Fran! Ha ha Z has been listening it for the last few years that I want that freezer dryer but now he is getting excited for all the food we make preserve with it too! My favorite breakfast is soup. I don't like sweet things in the morning so the soup can balance it out! 😄 I agree I feel the same way about the laundry (if it's not in an insane amount) is quite relaxing to do. Hi Elizabeth! It's been around in the last few years but it's an investment for sure but I'm glad I waited out the Costco deal. You know those crunchy fruits that are very light weight and kind of fluffy at the snacks section they make it with this method. Ha ha it was just a trial run in the living room to see how loud and it's gonna be in the garage. We have a cold weather now some of the nights go as low as 37F slowly we are tuning in for the winter weather. I hope you are well and your family is doing well! Hugs! 😃🤗❤❤❤

Hi Noemi, a hack you can try for the foil that is hard to remove from your frames is to press one end of a sticky tape on the corner of the foil, pull the other end of the sticky tape and the the foil should follow. Hope it works for you!
I never used to like cooked cabbage, but now I love it with onion & a couple slices of bacon. I use some of the bacon fat & olive oil to cook it with. Also add a little red wine vinegar for some zip. Lorraine

Hi! I got the same freeze dryer for my birthday!! My husband got it from Tractor Supply. I love it! I have freeze dried strawberries, onions from my garden and dill pickles. But the pickles weren’t that great. Next I will do yogurt bites. Have fun with it.
I bought the splinter removal kit and how did it work great. I had splinter in my hand for months. It still took 3 tries to get it all out but I highly recommend having it!!!

We've had a freeze dryer for a few years now. We love using it for fruit. My favorites are strawberries and cherries. It's nice to do some meals as well. Not only for emergencies but because then you can have something home-cooked and healthy on those nights no one feels like cooking. Have fun!

Hi sweet Fran! Ha ha Z has been listening it for the last few years that I want that freezer dryer but now he is getting excited for all the food we make preserve with it too! My favorite breakfast is soup. I don't like sweet things in the morning so the soup can balance it out! 😄 I agree I feel the same way about the laundry (if it's not in an insane amount) is quite relaxing to do. Hi Elizabeth! It's been around in the last few years but it's an investment for sure but I'm glad I waited out the Costco deal. You know those crunchy fruits that are very light weight and kind of fluffy at the snacks section they make it with this method. Ha ha it was just a trial run in the living room to see how loud and it's gonna be in the garage. We have a cold weather now some of the nights go as low as 37F slowly we are tuning in for the winter weather. I hope you are well and your family is doing well! Hugs! 😃🤗❤❤❤

Hi Noemi, a hack you can try for the foil that is hard to remove from your frames is to press one end of a sticky tape on the corner of the foil, pull the other end of the sticky tape and the the foil should follow. Hope it works for you!
I never used to like cooked cabbage, but now I love it with onion & a couple slices of bacon. I use some of the bacon fat & olive oil to cook it with. Also add a little red wine vinegar for some zip. Lorraine

Hi! I got the same freeze dryer for my birthday!! My husband got it from Tractor Supply. I love it! I have freeze dried strawberries, onions from my garden and dill pickles. But the pickles weren’t that great. Next I will do yogurt bites. Have fun with it.
I bought the splinter removal kit and how did it work great. I had splinter in my hand for months. It still took 3 tries to get it all out but I highly recommend having it!!!
