HI Chickie and Chris! I live a little over half a mile from the Viking Company, When my Mom was 14 she lied about how old she was and worked one summer there. They are no longer in business and have been for a long time. So happy for you Chris! A really good sign for that price. I know you will make a beautiful frame. Those vases are so beautiful. Hi Yvonne, it's so good to see you getting out and about again, but please don't push yourself too much. You look great! I have heard about this Springfield sale for a few years and would absolutely swoon if I were to actually get to visit, lucky you!! And it looks as though you and Chris scored big time, Chris especially. I'm overjoyed that he was able to get the mirror he's been on the hunt for, congratulations Chris!

We left the first day about the same time you did and went to The Heart of Ohio. Amazed we didn’t run in to you guys. We went back on Saturday but quite honestly I didn’t find much that I was looking for. My husband found some of the things he likes. Sunday we went to The Heart and finished up there. We had car problems Friday afternoon so had to taxi everywhere and hoping to get car problem solved in the morning.😩 We’ve been 3-4 years to the September show and prefer it over this one. Glad you found some great treasures.

I looked it up- Viking went out of business in 1998, and L E Smith went out of business in 2004 due to bankruptcy. Buy all you can afford when you find them. Texas Deb ❤️

Glad to see your treasures from day one. The barns are wsy better than the buildings as far as prices and variety. The barns kept me busy until the rain stopped. Hope you come back in the fall.

Lol, we are alike, crowds do me in. My 19 yr old grandson graduated from our local Technical College on Tuesday night, let’s just say I was peopled out and the noise level was terrible at times. I really love the blue bowls, and that Jadeite bowl is wowza. The second slung vase is stunning. Gee, Chris, Yvonne has been sick and she needed that sheep for the yard.🤣😂. You do find the coolest items.

Fifty one years ago when I got married I sent for a cannister set, dish towels, & 8 mugs of the mushrooms from the Sears catalog. Also had the foldig coat rack that I hung the mug on, along with a 2 shelf spice rack with 3 drawers on the bottm, anything purchased in wood was painted in white only.

The pizza place where I worked years ago had that Budwieser mirror, 1 of many my 24:28 boss collected. She also had the light up Budwieser clock. She has a lifetime collection of pub memorabilia.
She is 93 now and all of that kind of stuff is in storage waiting to see the light of day again.
I live about 20 minutes from Springfield, OH, on about 64 acres, where we had a house built in 1997, when we had to return early, with 4 children (ages 2,4,6,8), from Saudi Arabia, (long story) and have never gone to the Spring or Fall antique show, or that huge antique building!!!

My family came from Urbana and I love that town. Never have gone to the big flea market, but sorry it was a rainout.
Urbana is the cutest town. Love seeing downtown full of shops.

I am just floored how much old marshmallow tins go for!! $$$$ I thought they were high in my area, but that market really takes the cake. Probably why I still don't have one yet. If there was a booth here that was pricing their items like the ones you shared, they wouldn't be able to make their booth rent due to lack of sales. The Budweiser mirror sign was a fantastic steal of a deal for Chris though, it was cheaper than the marshmallow tins and way bigger!!
We went to a monthly summer flea market that had it's opening day on Mother's Day and we got there 15 minutes after they opened and it was crazy lined up with traffic to get in too. I came home with some awesome treasures at really good prices! Got a 4 ft long chicken feeder for $1! A nail keg for $8, that I already sold. I went to a Barn sale on Friday that had lots of Pyrex, but mainly with green/white patterns that no one was interested in. I am having to pace myself with buying, because things aren't selling for me this year.

Good morning sweet lady 😊 y’all did great despite the rain 😊 I love the blue bowls & flower frogs ❤ those primitive cabinets were beautiful ❤ that sheep oh my goodness 😮you’ll find 1 though 😊 so glad he got his mirror that’s 1 of the prices you jerk they’re arm off lol that’s a saying here in Est Tn when we get great deals 😊 so glad you’re feeling better God is so good 😊 my father in law is from Ohio we’re talking about going to spring field cause we love us some primitive pc’s 😊 you got a fantastic deal on the pantry boxes back porch antiques had smaller ones that ranged from 125 to 325 & those marshmallow tins have my ❤ on the hunt for 1 only seen 1 here in my area @ an estate sale & I couldn’t get there early enough I was 40th in-line still got good stuff though I’ll find 1 but in the meng time I’m gonna recreate 1 😂 downloaded the label so just gotta find the right size tin 😊 have a Blessed wk sweet lady can’t wait for part 2 😊

Budweiser Clydesdales Horses were here in Hot Springs, AR about 2 weeks ago for like 4 days. The entire town was excited about meeting them.
I think of you both when I go to my 2 favorite flea market/ antique malls in my area. So much of what you might want I see. If you ever want to visit central PA, I'd be happy to take you around!!

Yvonne, when you showed that blue crockery bowl I had to chuckle a bit. I’ve got that same bowl but wish I could find the to other sizes you had. I love my bowl n use it a lot.

Hi Yvonne....boy those mushroom cups brought back memories.... I was into mushrooms back in the 70's and had quite a collection...there were 4 cups and they came with an orange metal stand to hang the cups....also had a canister set with 3 or maybe 4 canisters...it was called the merry mushroom canister set...I've seen people selling them on ebay....also had a spice rack which was white with green trim and held around 8-10 spice jars...and had salt and pepper shakers in my collection...I think there was a sugar bowl and creamer....my son is into collecting and now has most of the set

The fenton glass factory quit traditional glass making in 2011 .

Fenton went out of business a few years ago after over 100 years in business I believe.

As far as I know Blenko is the only glass company still producing. All the other famous old WV glass, Fenton, Vikings, Rainbow, Kanawha, and the great Pilgrim Glass all are out of business. All are still very collectible. I can’t identify any unless sticker is still attached.
