The glass owl that Barb picked up was stunning!
I did not ever price things at my booth in the flea market. I wanted people to engage with me. I could then price a great price and start a conversation. I made alot of long time customers because of this. I always gave great prices or just gave it to them. I always feel that it is my job to find the treasures new home.Pros and cons to each way of doing things. I love dealing with people face to face.
That's the biggest haul I've ever seen Barb buy. You go girl!!
I know I was very surprised. Usually I get annoyed with her cheapness.
I love Barbs intelligent thoughtful buying style.
I hate when Jeffrey cuts her off!! It happens often….. I wish she would do her own videos 😆 And talks her out of buying things, he talked her out of the pink swung vase for $12 & turned around and bought an amber exact same for $12!!!

@@kimmeryann2808 she talks herself out of her purchases most times because she refuses to make up her mind about whether or not she wants it and then has buyer remorse if she doesn't. I was really surprised about how much she bought at the Ohio annual antique fair. She and Jeffrey were cleaning George the antique nomad out on one table.
@@doriwilson6991 not just this video - but all the time he cuts her off, walks away or interrupts her. If she don’t mind who am I to judge. I hate when he does it tho LOL
The vintage tv antenna looks like a sculpture - very nice!!
I hate people who don't have prices on merchandise. Don't like to ask.
I always think they are sizing me up as to how much I can pay. Hate it.
I've been a seller for over 20 years. I never price my stuff because sometime people won't buy from your booth because they think you're not willing to negotiate on the prices.
I always feel that their sizing me up before they quote me a price!
I find you can often get really good prices from unpriced booths. But sometimes they are overpriced too. I usually grab a couple things and then ask :) often the more you are buying the better the prices are.
@@pennydaytreasures8173 yes we call it bundling. Because I can get things pretty cheap because I know where to go I can sell to people who are resellers for a fair price so we both are able to make a good profit. It's the name of the game.

A cozy flea market! The show stopper was the Czechoslovakian glass fruit lamp 😮. Scott sold one last year. You found excellent Lithos! And the bourbon decanter is fab!!♥️🐩
I agree. That lamp was my favorite thing out of all of the Springfield videos I've seen.
@@Brabronacus Agreed! I love your username. In high school I would always buy a pack of Hostess donuts at lunch. My friend Greg would see the residue of powdered sugar on my black pants. He would always give me a good insult and laugh.😂

Jeffrey I love the flamingos I have Flamingo mirrors, Art Deco art and figurines, Murano flamingos and a extra large Flamingo rug. Thats my living room, you would love it. Lv.

22:33 That stand made my mouth fall open...so beautiful! I think that would have been my purchase of the day...not big on swung vases, blow molds, die cuts or swans but that was so lovely. 😊 Thanks for the video, it looked like you both had a lot of fun.
I miss doing what you guys are doing, my husband and I did it a long time ago, and I loved it! But sad to say I had to let a lot go in my estate auction….for nothing! Was so upset, but it all had to go. Now I can reminisce thru you all.
At 9:42 the glass and gold plastic piece is one my Mom had in the sixties. She put colored water in it.
I think you’re talking about a scavenger hunt. So neat seeing all the beautiful finds. That was an exceptional price for the green vase Barb was wanting, Jocelyn has been showing all the vases that are large like that one going for two, three, four hundred dollars, and some even more! ✌🏼❤️

A can of high gloss spray would have made George's flamingos sparkle you know! And I think it would have worked even with the mat soft colors! Oh well.-wonder if he sold them?!

I can’t believe how much those Viking Fairy Lamps are going for now. I bought one at an estate sale for $8 10 years ago and I was going to collect the rest of them but never got around to it. I doubt that I can now! Mine actually came with an owl candle inside that looked just like the lamp but it was so hot that it melted by the time that I got home. I was not happy.
I amwatching your video on tv whete you are talking about your migrain. My m-i-l taught me a trick....put your feet in water as warm as you can stand. Don't get rid of your gall bladder. Take a tablespoon of olive oil with fresh lemon several times a day...a GOOD olive oil@

I like it better, when the vendors set prices instead of trying to figure the value, while the buyer is standing there and then the seller wants to sell, like they are in a real antique store.
I like George but I think $75 for that green vase that Barb wanted ,was extremely high.

Great price on the Fenton. The brooches @27:24 are not micro just mosaic. Micros are usually found in scenery pictures or dogs etc. When you look it up you'll see what a huge difference it is.
21:12 time stamp. OMGoddess.. that's the picture I picked up at a thrift store and I have been looking up info on it every where and couldn't find anything. The one I found for $5 is a little bigger and in a different frame. I keep telling myself, I bet Jeffrey would know. I all so picked up another 9ne with it for $5 all so. Ty so much!
what a great price George gave Barb in that green swung vases. I passed on a blue one just like it for $125.

I can't believe you found that sputnik bottle. I pick them up at estate sales. People don't know what they have. Whiskey came in it. It sells for about 90.00!! But mine always had the original stamps.

I have seen the "Hot dog dresser caddies" used by a kitchen sink to hold soap and a sponge in the back so the water can drip outa the holes in the bottom.
