No leave the buzz. All YTCC's are paranoid that the sound is too loud. Hey man we have a volume slider, maybe even a mixer on this side, we got your back. That being said if I get a Van site on line soon it will hopefully have easy volume normalization creation (me make video). You know those videos and you can't hear the person talk yet the music on the next scene is too loud? Normalization is an easy way to globally edit your sound volumes in your video project. Easy peasy is do it on just files or the final product. A smart tool would absolutely know when amplitude is unstable in the recording and just automatically apply an averaging algorithm in just one step.

That is a nice knife, it is like a cross between a heavy chef knife and a lightweight cleaver. What company made the knife.
If you have never been to the Olympic Peninsula it is amazing, plenty to film outside of ONP. Olympic National Forest is spectacular, check out Murhut Falls, Rocky Brook Falls, Mt Walker auto road if it is open in winter, Kloshe Nanitch Lookout, Rialto Beach, Shi Shi, Hurricane Ridge in ONP. If you want to capture the US Navy's F-18 Growler pilots training for carrier landings take the ferry to Whidbey Island and go to OLF Coupeville, it is a small airport south of the NAS Whidbey Island where pilots practice, there is no fence to get in the way of video or photography, the Navy post their training times online for OLF Coupeville for the residents in the area, from the airfield you can clearly see Mt Baker to the Northeast and on a clear day you can see Mt Rainier directly off the southern end of the runway 100 miles away.

Bro i LOVE this channel. Oh my gosh. You are super innovative. I am also, one of my strongest traits. I have another idea! I wonder if you throw a quick snip into every single video, mentioning that you read every comment, and then track your numbers and see if it increased engagement. I.E. do it on the next 5 videos and compare engagement with those videos. Because, for me, when you said that, it immediately encouraged me to begin commenting and interacting. Because I thought wait a minute, that's such an interesting thing to learn. Because when you comment on anyone's channel, you think your comment will have a small chance of being replied to. But the average user might not think about if they actually read them though! So when you said that, it made me feel like this comment will be seen and my voice will be heard. That's a super innovative idea. Bro try it for every video! If you do it and it worked, shoot me a reply. I am saving and preparing to begin creating content along a similar genre. I'd be interested to know if it helped engagement. And when was the last time you saw a youtuber say that on every single video? I never have. Erego, maybe it's worth trying.

Honestly, the heater noise didn't bother me at all. Truthfully, it did the opposite, pulling me more into the environment.
For what it's worth, to my ear it sounds like your camera likely has an automatic level control circuit for the audio coming from the microphone. Because there wasn't anything loud happening near it, it automatically cranked up the mic volume until the diesel became more noticeable. If you listen closely, when there is a louder noise (like louder utensil clanks or you speaking a bit), you can hear the sound of the heater quickly drop as the circuit does its job. Hard to avoid, honestly.

You have the most underrated van life channel ever I swear. You deserve more subs and views in my opinion. The way you film and edit is phenomenal. I’ve watched almost all of your videos and was immersed and entertained everytime. I don’t know if you will ever see this comment however, please don’t stop making these videos.

Chad i enjoy watching your videos. I think the next big test for the sprinter is to prepare for a trip to Antarctica. This would obviously require you to reach out to research stations and groups, but put that baby on a c130 and drop in for a week. It might not be possible like going up to the top of the artic circle because of the obvious equipment needs that are there at the oil rigs but if it was ever possible, you should look into it.

Sorry buddy. Just cannot watch this. (Love your videos on my quiet Sunday mornings). With wind noise, heater noise….. just way too much noise and not enough of your voice.

Dude, nobody cares about the sound the heater is making in your Van. In fact, if the sound stopped we'd be VERY WORRIED. Because if the heater stops working, like it did for a sec in the Arctic....Not Good. No Sweat. Love your Work.

Bro Chad. The whole time I was thinking you were hanging out in the Meadows parking lot, but I guess you were a little bit further South. We were hanging out in Bend the same weekend you were riding out the storm, tons of snow that weekend.
