I have the same keyboard, i'm thinking if it is worth replacing the ixPE foam inside with the regular PE foam. Some builds especially the M1 some creators swapped it. Wanna know your thoughts!
What kind of regular PE foam are we talking about? If it’s similar to the IXPE sheet by QK/Owlab/Jris, then yes. If it’s the white packing foam, then no.
My M1W is very thocky and fuller while Hi75 is more towards clacky imo. Probably the PCB of M1W is non flex cut hence the fuller sound. I would recommend you picking up the Hi8 instead of this 2 boards. Superior value and finishing when compared to M1 and Hi75.
hey. Ive been looking into getting a keyboard. I really want it to sound kinda creamy i guess... Ive got like 130$ to work with. Im not really sure if this is possible any way you can help?
I would say replicate the build when you find the perfect soundtest to you. 130$ opens up a lot of options for you. Get a Rainy75 or join the Mechanical Keyboards USA Facebook group.
@@maxkeeb_official okay thank you. I'm actually really liking this exact setup you have. I wanted a red and black one as well. But it seems like the Hi75 keyboard is always out of stock is this normal?
@@h0zumi You can replace the red plastic part of the knob if you’ve found the one sold by Leobog. But you can’t just replace the knob with the generic guitar knob. That’s what the OP was asking.
The wired is excellent for gaming latency, like OP mentioned there is the Hi8x versions for tri-mode for about the same for cystal versions and slightly more for metal one.
Your videos are so calming
Thanks for the compliment!
do you still recommend this keyboard in this time period? I'm on the fence due to there might be a new one releasing similar to this xD
What keycaps are those? Didn't see them listed in the video

can i change the knob with a regular one ?
You can’t.
You can. Although you have to use a lot of force to take out the current knob before replacing.

Too bad it's not wireless....
They have a Hi8 version with trimode. Slightly more expensive but surface smoothness is miles ahead.

@@maxkeeb_official so is it worth an extra 35 dollars, i want wired, creamy, marble sound
Wait, so you dont mod anything? Just slam switches and keycaps in and it already sound like that??@@
Yup. Hand lubed Z1 switches.
@@maxkeeb_officialthat's cool, i love it, it hard to find a budget creamy alu kit these day
