I have a 1966 penny that looks brand new, I thought it was a proof set penny until seeing this video I learned they did not make them that year. Thank you for your videos! I'm going to get mine graded!
Since my birth year is 1966, I tend to hoard those. I have a few rolls of 66 pennies and will have to break them out for a closer look. Thanks for the videos!
Is Florabama still open ,it was always a great place to check out your change ..my family was stationed in Pensacola when I was growing up ..I loved the Gulf
thanks for the wealth of knowledge and mint history my friend. Your videos have awakened me to so much. some really crazy errors too. i sometimes wonder if some of the mint workers did some of these intentionally with the intent of snagging a few valuable rare coins for themselves
Ihave a1966 penny no mintmark. Brown with some red around the rim, design on both sides are still strong. The new coins are so cheap. 2022 coins look horrible already. Thanks for the awesome informative info!!!
I just found a '66 penny and searched online real quick to find out more about it and this is the first video I came across... still not sure what to do with it though...
I don't know if I have any 1966 pennies. I don't have any sms sets but I will DEFINITLEY be checking through my jug of pennies now that is for sure. and hope I find some. Thank you J&B for the great information as always, as well as what to look for.
Good evening I just saw your video on the 1966 pennies and I happen to have two right now I mean one looks brand spanking new and the other one is new and I beat up but it's kind of like red color brown color how do I go by trying to sell these coins or I don't know I don't really know much about him I just barely started collecting all these coins this year I got over a thousand pennies double dies and all kind of panties wheat pennies anything but I have the 66 pennies you guys were talking about God bless
I have a couple 1966 cents that look more like proofs than business strike. Time to take a closer look. Had no idea there was a SMS for this year either. Thanks J&B!
Of course we want to try and make a fortune eventually selling coins but that comes second. What's most important is that we grab and preserve as many good condition coins from circulation as we can for the sake of preservation of history. Even the new shield pennies have doubled die errors and worth putting under a scope 🤗🤗🤗
I have a 1966 and the R & T in LIBERTY are near blending, the tail of the R seems to almost break off then blend with the T and the T looks as though it was struck with a kind of C shape over the T. There seems to be indications on doubling on both sides, but not sure at the moment. Its worn but still has a dull, but nice red shine to it. Just a little worn, and I have another that has obvious, but still slight, doubling on the obverse, and also, the T in LIBERTY is slightly misformed, its color is more red then the other, and has much less wear to it. Genesis W.
I have found a 1966 DDR but not sure what to do. Should I have it graded? It’s in decent shape I think. I’m not sure how they grade them as far as condition but it’s in decent condition.
I'm just recently new to this, after watching this I found 3 1966 pennies how do I get them checked out? By the way good stuff going on keep up the vids
I have a 1966 penny looks brown -when you flip it from front to back, the Lincoln head to the monument there is an angle. I guess what I mean to say is normally when you flip a coin over the backside is exactly upside down well this corner is not exactly upside down on the back of there’s a slight angle to the left so it looks like the monument is upside down but also tilting about 20°
Will be looking at my pennies since I'm hoarding them. Just felt it took so many to make a dollars I just keep them. So maybe I was subconsciously smarter than even I knew I do have 66 n 77n88n99n00 but now I know collecting birthyears and double end dates are a great thing. An to the 2nd part of your ? MS willgo back a rewatch.
Wow I have a few 1966 pennies but I have not seen the SMS. I am not sure how to speak my opinion of Eva on a G rated channel and I'll leave it at that! Thanks J&B 👍
