This is cool! You know, in 1982 I bought 2 rolls of 1982 D pennies and 1 roll of 1981 D pennies and they have never been out of the roll!
Then you have a small fortune. They should be in pristine condition.

I would have NEVER guessed a 1981 business strike cent would be so valuable and rare! I’m going to look thru the pennies I inherited from my grandfather...there are some real beauties in there and I may have to get you guys opinion on if I should send them for grading or not! I just finished going through my brother’s pennies (he saves all his pennies) and found some beautiful 1980 and 1981. I will have to look more closely at them. Most were pretty bad but about 5 really stood out. I would never had thought a penny could be worth that much.

I didn't expect an 81 to have that kind of value. I have just recently come into a hoard of coins that were saved in a picnic basket. They have lots of 1981's and some are in really good condition. I will have to get a couple graded and see what I have.

I have a couple , I'm thinking about sending the best it in to be graded . It's red with beautiful colouring , only a couple of tiny nicks on the rim , the Lincoln is perfect well stamped . Thanks your videos are excellent love the history parts .

Wow...I keep the 81, 82, 83 years separated. I’ll have to look through my 81’s! Great info! I have mint sets from that year (81). I didn’t know you could take them from a mint set and get it graded. Those errors coins always baffle me, you can’t tell me it’s not intentional. Especially the last one, the 3 strike! I’m not really surprised about the value of the 81 penny...when people want something, they‘ll pay a premium for it!

I dont know. But I have some 81s to look at when I get home. It always surprises me how valuable some of these coins are especially the modern ones. But I have noticed that in some years, really hard to find a real nice ones. Actually I think I have a couple nice ones but will have to look at under my new AmScope I bought thru the JB Coin Website. Thanks you two. Love ya.
