autosculpt was literally the most criminally underrated customization feature any NFS has ever had. the fact that it was never brought back did the series dirty.
@@dustinjames1268 yeah but prostreets autosculpt was tied into performance tuning so it was much more limited in what you could do. carbon gave you complete control purely for aesthetic purposes. but with prostreet you actually had to mind what you did because aerodynamics was a thing and if you autosculpted the fuck out of your car you could add an ass-ton of front/rear drag which affected your speed and grip levels.

The ring road highway around downtown, while fun to breakneck speed around against bots, never was suitable for true high speed testing, like is the tokyo two-way highway in Gran Turismo 6. And NFSMW highway around the golf course and rosewood had only the eastern section relatively clear of bends, with only section suitable for those 400km/h+ runs being the golf course bridge-police station junction. The highway around downtown rockport was too bumpy and generally trickier with all those big rigs. Now, while NFS Undercover being generally a shitty NFS, now that game had actual straights and a highway that felt like one :D
@@Kamido na, never used any of those foold in own the city. Just like ps2 carbon it was better to just race for 1st and be done sometimes you would get a chance to use your blockers but 99%of the time all the teammates were useless.
I know why they chose "Tell me what it look like" song for Sal, because you can only see this guy on the start and finish line. He is just too fast, I even wonder if you're his wingman instead of the other way...
His ai is very unique. As long you kept his scout off he will floor off on his own. Unlike blocker and drafter who prioritizing keeping with you. Same also affects Yumi. If you use crew ability changer. And you switch Sal to blocker or drafter. They will catch up to their target or you super fast. Although be careful if Sal is driving a Shelby because his car tend to flip very often.

Hard for me to say if Most Wanted is the best because of the insane police chases or Canyon because of the canyon duels. Both of them could have been made or broken by music, both of them succeeded spectacularly on that part.
Most Wanted 2005 being my favorite racing game, I am always disappointed with the lack of challenge in this game vs MW. Especially with the chases. On the contrary it seems the boss races are actually more challenging than the ones in MW. I'm currently playing NFS World on the Electron server which puts both game-maps together.
meanwhile my cops could see me from mile away, one even pushed me out from hiding spot, that was the most unexpected AI behaviour I ever saw. But Angie, or what is the female gang boss called, once yeeted herself off the cliff in canyon fight so that was nice.
When i was young playing Carbon one of my first times...i was wondering/dreaming about...letting other Crews taking my territory by not defending it and be able to let them conquer everything, and then face them with their own Boss, doing Canyons and every other stuff that happened with Kenji, Angie and Wolf, but other crews u know...i just thought it will work like that, unfortunately no :( Am i the only one ?
