Yess sir. I am trying my best to liberate.
I will serve my time in the army, but I still posted my first stupid long-form video today, which took me 2 hours to make-not even scripted.
I now regret it after observing all these amazing videos on RUclips
but it will be kept there, Who cares!

Oh there is so many trolls you can't avoid them. Don't ever reply back or even give them any more than a second in your mind.
I use to love replying and having like an argument and then I was like what am I even doing. I'm given them exactly what they want.

Today I got monetized! It took me a month and half and was a ton of work, but now that I’m here it’s really cool. All those days compounded and I made it, now to keep growing!

I'm not afraid to start, and definitely have started (as you can see from my channel lol) but my issue is... feeling like I am wasting my focus and time on the wrong thing. Like, should I really be focusing on building a gaming channel of all things? Like, I have other interests and areas of expertise that I could make a personal brand channel around but at the same time its a lot of work to build two channels, I like making gaming videos, I just dont see the same potential with it, especially in the niche of world of warcraft which I am pretty much in at this point.

4:06 this area of the video is sooo true. Most of the time they have no channel no videos nothing going on with their lives on RUclips. But they are giving us advice on how to do our RUclips channel. Always blows me away.

Ive experienced every mental thought of failing since i started, im still very new at this, i know my videos arnt great, but i already know ive increased my level of experience in editing and video making.
I just stopped caring, and started filming, throw some videos together, and start somewhere, im starting to gain a very little bit of traction, very little subs coming in, but who cares. If you know this is what you want to do. Just do it.

I’ve just started making shorts, and it has been great. But I want to make long form content to go with them. However, I’ve been hearing that mixing shorts and long form is not good for a channel and that has discouraged me a little. I feel like RUclips has too many unwritten rules. Which makes it less fun. Should I make a separate channel? Ughh very frustrating.

I think that theory has kind of blown over. RUclips wouldn't build two formats that negatively impacted each other on the same channel. I would create long and short on the same channel.

I watched this video several times, you’re a very good at speaking. I’m not good at speaking with big words like many content creators. I’ve always been somewhat shy all my life, yet there is a deep part of me inside that keeps yearning to make content, to help people
But I keep suppressing those thoughts. It’s like a battle going on inside me
Thank you for your videos and also I like the background music you used while speaking. It made it more emotionally moving. I’m afraid that One of my biggest regrets when my life is almost over is that I did not share what I know to help others.

Honestly nobody is very good at speaking when they start, I certainly wasn't. My voice was shallow, had no impact, I mumbled, and didnt project it. Only way you get better is by doing. But doing is hard in the beginning because you will judge yourself, but you just need to push through that.

And for others who wants a bit of inspiration too:
In my 15+ years on RUclips, I started with just posting piano covers in 2009. I eventually went into the singer-songwriter route. I got monetized at some point but I only earned less than $10 🤣 Later on, RUclips got stricter with the requirements so I lost the eligibility. In 2018, I started a trading education channel (along with this gaming channel that I'm commenting on right now).
Long story short, that channel also flopped and I realized that it wasn't really my passion teaching on that specific niche.
Now, I just post gaming videos as well as the occasional video editing tutorials and up to this day, I'm still not monetized but you know what I realized despite all of this?
I've actually gained a lot of skills along the way. Believe it or not, I've only started doing freelancing in video editing last year and I shifted this channel to become a "sandbox" of sorts and this platform gave me more leverage to showcase what I can do that I use this as part of my pitch whenever I talk to clients. 😅
(Also, I only got confident talking to the camera when I actually started this channel just last year. From 50+ subscribers now growing to almost 600 ✨)
