...”A Street Shooter”s Delight” and a real alternative to the Leica M-10.... ordered👍🏻
Nice video. Another point is that this new a7 C isn't really that much smaller than the a7 iii. It's not really that compact. It does have the new auto tracking, though.
I mean cameras are pretty small to begin with, and the difference of a small one and a large one isn't much anyways. But it is nearly 1/3 lighter than the a7iii which with a small lens could feel like you were running an a7iii with no lens on it at all.
Nice thumbnail
The a7c just influenced my decision to buy the a6600 instead. Works better for me. And I have custom buttons! Yay
Great video and I love your thumbnail! Also a very informative!
The thing I like about the a7c is the catalyst ability to stabilize the footage.
At first idea seems good but you will need full frame lenses and those are big, heavy and expensive. I will stick with my A6600 for vlogging.
What lens do you use for vlogging w your a6600?
@@dejamonaamamona8233 Sony 10-18 f4 is a must if you vlog and that is what I use. I added Sony 18-135 which is great if you are on tripod or shooting b-roll.
the a7c is £150 more expensive than the a7iii where I am, Sony clearly just had leftover parts that needed selling
I think there is one custom button, which is also the trash can button. But still the a6600 has like 3 or 4 custom buttons.
do you still use the urevo desk tredmill? how did it hold up? coming from amazon linked to your profile
Shaving off 1" from the top of the camera is a noticeable difference. If people don't think so then they should try out the grip of A7RIV vs A7III and that's only a few millimeters difference.
For all the compromises, it is marginally smaller than a7iii, and about 140g lighter. In light of Sony's huge zoom lenses for Full Frame, it's actually a negative to make the camera smaller. The smaller size also comes at the expense of a worse grip, no space to put your fingers in, fewer buttons etc. They are spending their time on the wrong project.
I agree, you're going to save 5x the weight going from a 1.8 to 2.8 lens. Small bodies don't make much sense.
Smallest fulframe?howbout sigma fp?
Sony's smallest full frame
I think i'll stick with my a6000. Still great.
Yes still great but only for 1080p
Sony cameras feel so "disposable" and have cheap plastics. Definitely not up to the build quality of Canon, Nikon, Panasonic.
Some more than others.
Despite all drawbacks, it is not significantly smaller than the A7III.
360p?
Just uploaded. It's still processing.
All I wanted from Sony was an A7000 with two card slots and a silent shutter like the A9. After seeing this come out, I think APS-C is doomed.
I think apsc will have a place until FF can get below $1k consistently. Canon and nikon are pushing awfully close. But too much of sony's sales are their
Christopher Burress I don’t doubt that they will keep selling Aps-c for now but I thought Sony would match what Fujifilm did with the XT4 specs. They seem to be committed to full frame. I hope i’m wrong.
This is true, the innovation on the apsc front doesn't seem very dynamic.
0:30 is worlwide joke anyway,
If it was 1499 I would def got it...it is beautiful small 6600 full frame but I rather save the extra 200 and get the a73, now something no one is talking about is the new color science which is to me a big deal but not enough for 1800...
I need to dig some more into that. I never have had a complaint about sony's colors but I have heard how their color science is wack. Looking forward to seeing what the difference is in real world scenarios.
@@ChristopherBurress color science is way better and is the new color science used on the a7s3
sigma FP is $1800, smaller and kicks this camera’s behind in every way
They both have their pros and cons. I would trust sony's af to be better, The articulating screen, and the lens options are better with the Sony. The sigma definitely wins with video quality options though.
Guess who makes the image sensor for the Sigma FP.
Strideo1 that’s irrelevant. Guess who makes the sensor for a lot of cameras? But we are taking about THIS camera.
