@@Pamela-c5o For me the a7III is much easier to use with a clearer, brighter EVF, front dial and more + better controls. Putting them side by side, especially with a lens, you'll feel minor difference in weight. BTW, I've got an a7c with only 377 shutter clicks plus 28-60 kit lens for sale.

you don't need more than 10 mpix for social media. 4K photo is 8MP!! With 24 mpix you can get 24x16 inch prints. I don't need the latest A7C II maybe someone else does but I only post pictures for online purposes and print very rarely. I also shoot 4K 25p almost all the time. I only have two 2K monitors so why do I need more.
Was waiting for it long before it came out. Was considering getting it with the sigma 24-70 f2.8 art but now I m more into the tamron 28-75mm f2.8 g2. This range a, ideal for me. Coming from canon rp. The best rf lenses, are way beyond my reach and the lack of third party Lenses s really a drawback
I also like the idea. Especially if looking into the used market. It’d be a great value if one could get a gently used A7C, (hasn’t been dropped or abused), for ~$1100. For me, my thought is to use the A7C as a possible option to replace my smaller Every day camera Sony ZV1. I have a A7 IV already, and wouldn’t be interested in the newer A7C II, (not enough compelling reasons to spend the extra money) and I got it 6 mos. ago. Now the 60MP, A7CR on the other hand would be the one to save for for me, as it would be a significantly different shooting experience with the 7stops of IBIS and the ability to crop the heck out of photos.
Until we get the raw support for A7Cii files it's all meaningless. Most people process raw and it never looks like OOC jpegs. I'm not buying a new camera until DXO released raw support, that's the only software I care about. That's planned for November.
Majority of users watching aren't looking to upgrade from A7C. They are either buying the first DSLR (unlikely), or moving up from entry-level DSLRs. So it's helpful to include content on 'In which cases should you buy A7C ii over A7C given the price difference'. Great content btw!
I own the a7c and bought an a7iv a few months ago. I will probably upgrade at some point but I will stick with the a7c for now because I don’t shoot video much. The slightly bigger grip is nice but it is funny how now everyone likes the a7c form factor. Most people disliked the a7c’s smaller size and design and now you cannot find them in stock. Granted it does have upgrades but the main reasons I also added an a7iv still remain. I wanted to have the two card slot backup and the better grip and better evf. I do prefer the offset evf myself. My favorite lens is the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 so a bigger body makes more sense. I now have the FE 20mm f/1.8 on my a7c. Thanks for video.
can you tell what type of SD card do you have each camera? I am thinking about getting V30 card instead of V60. Second Question: If you had give up one the A7C or A74 which will you give up and why?

Too bad, now with the A7C Mark II, the alternative option A7IV feels a bit broken😏 Because many will want those A7C II improvements (AF, IBIS, etc) but back-ported into an A7 body. choosing a camera is for a good photo. One can have many good camera features but it is the photo coming out that counts. The a7c has a better colour balance, especially on skin tone which is the most determining factor if you shoot portraits.
@@PfagnanTo be honest if you didn’t have the A7C then getting the A7Cii may be worth it but the marginally better IBIS and EVF/AI Autofocus do not justify the cost it would be to upgrade.
