My youngest is 20 now and a few of mine are trying to start families, but there haven't been any unexpected surprises ❣️ And, my favorite part is, awkward moments or not, we can all talk about anything to one or another of us. If it is too much for them to tell me, they talk to each other openly. So I know they'll figure (almost) everything out that I did miss 😆
@zerse not really! Maybe not understand all men but you generally get an idea of how they are as there is a pattern of behavior. But of course each individual is different.
Great work. My son is three, about to turn four and he said a few weeks ago "daddy I want a beard like you so I can shave." (Exact words, he's very well spoken). It made me tear up a bit. I used to be rather emotionless and a borderline sociopath until I had kids. Now I'm so emotional over them and kids in general. I'll get them learning from this show when they're eight.
Girls: “why won’t the boys talk to us?” Look, we go through a whole mental plan just to speak to you. First we have to come up w/ something to say, then we have to think if the sentence conveys the right message, we then choose the best tone to suit our intentions, after that we second guess ourselves and wonder how you’ll react, so we then reword our sentence about 13 times like it’s college thesis, then comes the moment of truth on wether or not we let the phrase exit our mouths. 80% of the time we don’t. Keep in mind, this is just the formula for how we say “what’s up?” Or tell a joke to you.

In high school I avoided showers like the plague and actually talked to a school counselor about it, sort of. I just dropped in a conversation, but they were very understanding about it and it turns out at my school, it wasn't really a requirement since a lot of students also refused to use the showers too, so they didn't enforce it and felt no need too. However, my senior year, I couldn't avoid it. My wrestling team just had a practice during the Christmas break and we were actually going on a trip to statewide wrestling tournament. We were all sweaty and the team in general decided everyone needed a shower since the bus wasn't scheduled to arrive for another 30 minutes. Hiding sadness is in there too, but it's not nearly as common. Learning to hide a lack of confidence is something most guys have to learn at some point, because you're gonna have a really hard time finding someone to be with romantically if you can't ask them out without being a nervous mess. Women will reject you and not even be nice about it. Can't look like a wuss in front of your friends, as a kid, so you better act tough even if you don't feel it. One way to not get in trouble at school is to get an early reputation for trying to avoid and never causing trouble. That way unless it was seen by multiple people you can be a bit crazy but if it was only you and someone else than you are not very likely to be blamed
The thing is, the stigma, and often the expectation is that the boy will ask the girl out. Yeah, that is lame, and not always true for awesome people, but it still exists for many.
Yeah as I girl I think this is a great idea, not all men are always financially able to pay the bill even if they wanted to and I also think it should be more socially acceptable for girls to ask guys out.

I have hair everywhere, why should i be shaving so much when i can't just shower properly. But if i could get 100% rid of armpit hair i certainly would.
Working as a teacher, many of these aren't gendered, especially bullying and misbehavior. I would rather someone frame this as a personal story though than drawing a picture framed as absolute.
You're totally missing the point of what was said in the video. Bullying part was showing that the bulied has to act manly and be able to take a fight. We girls, react to bullying in totally different ways and don't have the same pressure.
I got in 2 fights in elementary but as soon as I got in high school and started weightlifting and playing football I never got in a fight again. Nearly everyone was my friend and those who weren't just stayed away from me. No one wanted to pick a fight with "big body/dump truck"
From a German perspective, this school cafeteria stuff was really unfamiliar. In Germany (at least in Bavaria, It could be different in other states) the school day lasts from 8am until 1pm, so you don't really eat at school. And everyone showering after PE isn't really a thing at my school, since you aren't at school for hours, and you can use deodorant to not smell, and just shower when you come home.
This is the same for Polish schools, School ranges from 8:30 to 1-3PM, There is lunch but it's just a small room with not enough space to perform any true fight, Showering after PE is also not a thing in here so yeah
My son is turning 10 years old end of the year and he's already asking questions. He's an A student and reads a lot so he's now asking questions so I'm in full dad mode
As a Cross Country runner who had 4 days a week of morning practice, the locker rooms were interesting to say the least. We didn’t have time to go home to shower so everyone just did it at school. There were usually about 7-10 of us who would all go into this room with showers on the wall (usually enough for all of us) this was obviously pretty awkward especially if you weren’t an upperclassmen who had done it before. I fortunately didn’t do morning runs until my sophomore year, so I didn’t get hazed. too bad. But the towel whipping would get a little hectic post shower. There were some stories of kids getting peed on in the shower by upperclassmen, or getting their towels taken and not given to them until pretty much once class started. Just stuff like that. But I assume this doesn’t happen in the girls locker rooms😂
Its incredible how italian school is 100+ time harder. We dont even have events at school. When i was in middle school i knew only one thing: study for a whole week. We knew no girls or fun. Only study.

it amazes me how different American schools are from Aussies like we dont have lockers or changing rooms or prom. we dont have locker to shove all our books in we just carry every thing in our bags, if ur like me and just have one book a pen and money to buy lunch then yeah its easy. i literally have the smallest bag for school. and grading is different too primary is 1-6 and high school is 7-12. and ya done

Lol @ the dilemma with paying or not paying. Say you're totally willing to pay, but that if she would feel bad about you paying you're fine with splitting the bill. "Are you okay with me paying or would you prefer to split the bill? I'm comfortable with it either way." She might say she wants to pay, and all you have to do is say thanks and that it feels nice to be treated. 1) Shows communication and that you're comfortable problem solving by expressing your feelings and thoughts 2)You can't go wrong if she's the one choosing. 3) Leads to conversation and getting to know her. Not including her in decisions is a red flag for me.

But this video really makes me fortunate about being in this school, since the guy who wants you to fight him after school would probably immediately get suspended and would be immediately held accountable.
That's amazing. Now that's a good school I'm glad.
Bro your so gonna be bullied by society if you don't control your emotions
@@deemogame3719 im so sorry that you live in a miserable society thats different than his. But you shouldn't try to limit someone's emotion just because you live in a bad environment. Just let him express whatever he wants to. Either he's gonna get judged or not its none of our concerns
I mean I literally got my head split open by some other kid throwing a bottle at me so I had no other choice but to cry and judging by the expression of everyone else they didn't blame me. And btw when you said you got stabbed by a pencil in 5th grade the exact same thing happened to another kid in my class.
Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?
One way to not get in trouble at school is to get an early reputation for trying to avoid and never causing trouble. That way unless it was seen by multiple people you can be a bit crazy but if it was only you and someone else than you are not very likely to be blamed
Whoever thought to go out on a date is the one who's paying. If a girl asked you, she's paying and if a guy did he's paying. Simple enough.
Yeah
The thing is, the stigma, and often the expectation is that the boy will ask the girl out. Yeah, that is lame, and not always true for awesome people, but it still exists for many.
Yeah as I girl I think this is a great idea, not all men are always financially able to pay the bill even if they wanted to and I also think it should be more socially acceptable for girls to ask guys out.
Well, when I and my boyfriend go on a date, we pay for ourselves separately. We've been together for 3,5 years, engaged now, and it's always been like that. It's fair, I think.
@@majajedrzejczyk7992 I was thinking the same, it's the best option.

Don't ever be afraid to stand up for yourself especially against a bully. Even when you fight him and loose but you hit him a few times. Next time he will leave you alone because he knows now you are gonna fight back and bullies don't like that
Luckily being both gay and unathletic saved me from both dealing with women and those locker room stages. And being a recluse has also protected me from any major injuries (aside from the ones I cause just by being a clumsy buffoon). Though from what I can relate to this video is pretty accurate.
im 4 minutes in the video and I, a male, have never experienced the majority of these things...
also, are locker rooms and food fights gender specific??
For real
As a female I would say that the women's locker room wasn't chaotic at all nobody really did anything crazy but I dont think food fights are gender specific at all I've seen some girls start some pretty crazy food fights🤣🤣🤣.

A similar thing but usually 8pm-3pm, and we don't have the Cafeteria thing. At least I haven't experienced anything like it. I am from Australia.

Men just flaunt their bodies when they're alone with someone or just when they feel muscular and good looking. They feel shy flaunting when it's in front of many and if they are not so muscular.. Usually
I know how they feel I feel the exact same way when I’m around girls it’s aqward and when a girl says she likes me I feel so uncomfortable
This is an interesting video for us females. Some things are annoyingly similar and some things are not things we are bothered by.

I feel that “men don’t cry” one because I have a Freind and they said they cried yesterday because of work and I tied and remember the last time I cried and it was around the begging of quarantine
It’s also annoying and weird that female teachers can walk into the girls and boys changing room and the male teachers can just only walk into the boys changing room. Very weird.
True
it amazes me how different American schools are from Aussies like we dont have lockers or changing rooms or prom. we dont have locker to shove all our books in we just carry every thing in our bags, if ur like me and just have one book a pen and money to buy lunch then yeah its easy. i literally have the smallest bag for school. and grading is different too primary is 1-6 and high school is 7-12. and ya done
