Love your channel dude. I was a Diesel Mechanic for 2 years. I am now in CDL School at 22 years old and should be graduating next week. I aspire to do what you do. Keep up the good stuff. Your merch line is dope to, exactly what I'm trying to do. Truck for race cars! I got a GTP I'm currently building thats been in the garage for a year now.
Race cars an simi trucks and equipment are all the same bro they cost lots of money an take forever to build 😂 .. just forund your channel man i like the content keep it coming
Seen you washing your car off not sure if this means anything to you but the rinse off should start from the top of the vehicle down, per the drip off big Dawg thx for your awesome channel I and my son enjoy you trucking, stay safe out there papa!!!
Next time your in la grande baker city area hit me up. I’ll show ya some hospitality. Love the truck man makes me wish that I would have kept my old farm truck. I ran a stretched 389 day cab 100% blacked out.
Just wanted to let you know.. from experience. Those battery wires on the driver side behind the leaf spring hanger. Inside of that square shaped isolator, for some reason the vibration makes them chafe. Idk if their not secured enough or what. But We had one of our 389s catch fire, and it caused a huge multitude of electrical problems after that.
I’m not sure if this will help you but when I’m changing my oil filter, I imagine with my hand on the filter like I’m tightening or loosening a cap on a soda bottle and that lets me know what direction I have to turn the filter. I hope that helps
Amsoil Signature Series is the group IV PAO based "real Amsoil" with the long drain interval. There are a couple other lower tier lines they sell now also. Almost all of them are safe for newer emissions controlled motors but a couple are not.
Been watching you for a minute man. Inspiration to me im 22 owner operator as well. One day I’ll have me a rig like yours. What’s done to the fox body can’t wait to see that car content 🔥
Some dude said harbor freight pliers needs to never give advice again. Buy the actual filter wrench. Try and always grab it as far up on the housing as you can you’ll damage the filter and or thread on the housing by the bottom. The filters are female it’s always going to be a pull to loosen them. Don’t over think it.
I've run that stuff before a couple times. What do they say when you send the sample in? That's definitely a longer oil run but could be fine if supported by UOA testing. 20-25k is probably a more typical oil run in a motor like that to be safe with no testing.
What size shirt you wearing in the video? Trying to figure what size to order my t shirt we seem to be similar size what’s your height/weight if you don’t mind me asking lol
That’s really really cool truck But money you spend on fuel ⛽️ It would not be worth it for me Point is to earn as much as you can every mile you drive

lol I have the same struggle with the filter wrench I try to get it as high as possible on the filter
Imagine looking at the bottom of the filter and turn it counter clockwise to loosen

But money you spend on fuel ⛽️
It would not be worth it for me
Point is to earn as much as you can every mile you drive
How often do you change the crankcase filter?
Every week
No 10W-30 bro?
Best save money fuel will be 7 a gallon by June.no joke buddy
Put a little arrow on the oil filter for next time
I need to 😂😂😂 my luck I’ll still write the arrow the wrong way
Where do you send your oil to get tested?
Back to Schaeffer
Dude you can get oversize filter pliers at harbor freight for like $25. It’ll be way easier than your belt setup there.
I have them but I dislike them.
No shipping option for Canada 😢
Message me on Insagram I can change that
how often do you change your oil ?
Gonna sound crazy.
I swap an oil filter in at about 15/20,000
And swap oil 45-50,000 it’s what’s recommended by many when running Schaffers
how often do you change your oil
I let it run about 40/50,000
Swap filter at 15/20,000
I drive a box truck i do it every 9k miles.
👋👍
