Avon uses both door-to-door salespeople ("Avon ladies", as well as "Avon men") and brochures to advertise its products. The first Avon lady was Persis Foster Eames Albee. Avon operates training centers for potential representatives. Some Avon training centers have a small retail section with skin care products, such as creams, serums, makeup, and washes. Avon recruits sales representatives who sell beauty products, jewelry, accessories, and clothing.

Avon Calling! This is a great video. Thanks for the memories. As a kid, I enjoyed some of the gifts my aunt got for me. Who would have known, I would become a Ind Rep. Grateful for the opportunity to be a rep for 19 years now :)

Avon Worldwide headquarters are now based in London 🇬🇧 and this one was bought (74%) in 2020 by Brazilian direct selling cosmetics brand NATURA, who’s the owner of brands like The Body Shop 🇬🇧, Aesop 🇦🇺 and now with Avon they are called NATURA & Co. the 4th largest beauty conglomerate brands in the world right after The Estee Lauder Companies, the L’Oreal Group and Shiseido &Co.
