My Mom used to buy Avon in the 70's and I even remember our Avon lady. Sally would come over and over a cup of coffee my Mom would make her selections. I wore Sweet Honesty and I had that lipgloss in the chocolate chip container. It smelled and tasted like chocolate. My Dad had the cologne in the cowboy boot decanter. My older sister is an Avon lady since the 80's. She did very well selling it when she worked at an office. Today, everything is online but she still has customers.
I had the lipgloss in the chocolate chip cookie container, too! I loved that, that and the red twist ice cream cone lipgloss container. That was such fun. It wasn’t grown up but it made me feel so special and just like my mom. 🙂
My mom was sophisticated. She didn’t buy Avon for herself but if someone at her office sold it, she’d pick up a few of the girl things for me. I really loved how sophisticated she was. She taught me so much in her body care and to see all the jars and bottles on her 70s vanity table made me happy. She made me so proud that she was my mom, coming to school and looking ao pretty, looking so pretty at work. It was a different time and there was so much put into going to work. She was so beautiful.
My grandma was one of the top accounts for avon, she passed away on Christmas Eve and we've been going through her stuff. She has soooo much vintage avon. The car colognes, cream satchel, the floral solid perfume, jewelry, nursery rhymes perfume etc and we're not even half way through. I have her 25th anniversary Tiffany watch they gave her and the photos of the party. I love seeing these catalogs
My grandmother had an Avon lady named Eva who would come over her house sometimes on Saturday afternoons while I visited her as a child in the 70s. She would sometimes give me one of those tiny lipstick samples and my grandmother would make coffee and and would have a dessert to serve, and it was an event. She would let me paint my nails with her Avon polishes and I think that's where my makeup obsession began. 💜
Things I remember: *Leafing through the new Avon catalogs, left in the laundry room of the apartment building I grew up in. *Admiring the glass perfume bottles on my mom's dresser. I remember a cat with a long neck. * Those tiny lipstick samples. *Slipping in the bathtub on Skin So Soft residue.
I will never understand why Avon doesn't embrace the nostalgia. If they brought back the lipglosses alone PEOPLE WOULD LOSE THEIR MINDS. Going through the catalog as a kid was utter joy. Their packaging was so much amazing. The hamburger was SO hot in my late grade school. If you didn't have one, you were just not cool. I'm super intrigued by the eyeshadow wand. I don't remember that. Also the turntable (?!) lipgloss that was in the upper left hand corner of your lipgloss group photo. I do not remember that. Might have to find me one? Thanks so much!
That eyeshadow wand was a lot of fun, greasy though. But yes, I wish they'd embrace nostalgia. Everything nowadays is discontinued. Good luck finding ANY company product.
Anyone remember Pearls and Lace? My mom sold Avon in the early 80s... I loved looking in her boxes and smelling everything. The bath paint soap in roll on bottles were so fun. I can remember all the smells. I love the trinkets and Christmas ornaments. My choir in high school sold Avon for a fundraiser in 1996! I still like their products. Shame that the new owners are pushing prestige priced products. I hope they go back to the affordable and high quality product business model.
I have a customer now in 2024 that has me looking /watching out for pearl & lace. I love Candid and sweet honesty and the Hawaiian blend it smelted good
Yes, boomer here. Thank you for taking us down memory lane. We had many of those products. I remember Anew launching. It was the first of its kind, retinol in skincare!
Yes, the lip gloss and sample mini lipsticks were so my favorite. I had a half strawberry that opened up. One side had a thin sheer red gloss and the other side was a thick frosted pink gloss. I couldn't believe how it had seed indentations on the outside and a fluffy green stem. I used it forever.
How fun! I wore Sweet Honesty in the 70’s. I also was a nanny to an Avon lady! She always gave me the mini sample lipsticks! I adored their catalogues. Thanks!❤️🌹
I was really surprised to see the seahorse decanters in this video. I never thought I would see one of those again. My mother bought me one filled with Skin-so-soft bath oil. She bought this for me for Christmas 1972. I loved it and I loved the bath oil. Even after I finished it, the unique smell remained. I kept the decanter for many years so I could smell the fragrance. It would bring back happy memories. In the 80s and 90s I was an Avon Lady. I would have to say my favourite time for Avon was the 80s. I was in my 20s and I really enjoyed wearing make-up. Avon had booklets on how to wear their make-up and, as you know, 80s make-up was pretty iconic. They had great shades of lipstick and eyeshadow. I would spend a lot of my commission money on it!
I was an Avon representative in high school invthec70s I used to take my mother to the monthly parties and they would introduce new products and we had cake and coffee and spoke to other Avon representatives. It was so wonderful and I enjoyed it for quite a few years. I even had some relative start Avon ladies we still have some of the products in our home. It was wonderful. I do still have the egg ,ice cream cone, cookie, hamburger lip gloss under my h.s, stepping back graduation pic in the yearbook said” Does anyone want to look at an Avon book??”
I used a face lotion from Avon, Youth Dew or Youth Drops? I was 19 and every one commented on how nice my skin looked. Do you remember the pastel pink bottle?
Ahhhhh Skin So Soft. My mom and step mom used to put it on us kids at every outdoor event to keep the mosquitos away. And it really worked. I had forgotten all about that stuff. Very common for my mom to put in my bath water too. My aunt sold Avon and she used to give me some of the lipstick samples when I was little. It began a life long love of lipstick. I am rarely seen without some on. I also remember the solid perfumes. I used to get those for christmas in my stocking. And OMG those novelty lip glosses. I had the burger, the chocolate chip cookie, the lips and the hershey's kiss. This is bringing back some very good memories.
Margie was our Avon lady until Peggy took over from her. Mom wore Roses Roses, Dad used Wild Country, and I wore Sweet Honesty. I remember I loved the lipstick samples! Margie would give me the colors nobody wanted to play with. ;-) Oh, the lip glosses! They did scent that way too! I had a pin that had a bin on the back that had Sweet Honesty in it!
I was an Avon lady when I was 22 in 1975 here in England. I’m now 70 and use hardly any make up as I’ve read mica is mined by 7yr old onwards in India. I believe it pays to be conscious of the welfare of other human beings. Very interesting though. Thanks Laura Jane. I have the Avon clowns. Love from Brighton, south coast ,England. Connie ❤
I loved Hawaiian White Ginger. I couldn't afford much, and the little demistiks were affordable for me back then. I was sad when they discontinued that scent. It was fun to see this catalog you have that actually had the demistiks!
In the 70’s I was a young boy. I used Avon talc, my favourites were Charisma and Topazio. From ages 6 to 11 I never left the house without Crème Sheen for my hair. Never. The fading cream had 10% hydroquinone, which is now forbidden at such high concentration but God it worked. I used to seal my aunt’s lip gloss (in the shape of a strawberry that you could open). There was a matt formula and a gloss. I used to EAT it as it smelled so good…..
My mom was an Avon lady in the 80s and continued on and off through the 90’s and early 2000’s. She had a big collection of their perfumes, skincare and beauty products. When I was a kid in the 80s she would get me all the lip balms in cute packaging and fruity scents. They also had perfumes sets for little girls and she would get me that. I actually still have a spray bottle of skin so soft oil that she got me a few yrs ago when she made an accept to get back into selling but wasn’t as successful due to all the competition in beauty products nowadays. This video was very nostalgic. It reminded me of my childhood. Thank you for making it.
My Mom sold Avon when I was little. My Brother and I were sent out with books for one side of a street , Mom and 2 Sisters canvassed other side of street. Moms fave from then is Foxfire... an Aunts was Moonwind. I had a Baseball shaped bottle of Boys Cologne from Avon I liked. I gave Our dog several "makeovers" from makeup samples. 🙂
The packaging of Avon in the 60s and 70s were just breathtakingly beautiful, I bet it looked extremely fancy and pretty on the vanity and was the epitome of femininity and glamour. Even just carrying those lipsticks must have been so much fun, I would have given anything to buy those items and experience an Avon lady coming to my house and show my all the beautiful new products❤️ sad how much time changes everything…I will miss Avon forever.
I had the hamburger, the lips and the I cream cones. Sweet Honesty and Honeysuckle were my favorites! There were two hand creams I loved one in yellow and the other in blue packaging. We had so much fun with the lipstick samples. My auntie sold Avon in the 70s and watching this video makes me so happy remembering all of these beautiful treasures!
This was such a wonderful trip down memory lane! I'm on the younger end of Gen X, but I recognize so many of the Avon products featured here that my mom, aunts, and their friends used, which I took for myself, ha ha. I remember I had a couple of those mini white lipsticks in brick red and a rich brown, which I'd carry in my little purse. I would love to have those lipsticks again. I also miss the scents of those creams.
We lived on a farm in the 60s. The Avon lady came by every few weeks. She had a sample case and always gave us a little lipstick. She and Mom would have coffee and cake while Mom tried the samples. We always got to pick out something.
Very nice video! Took me back! My sister and I lost our Mom in the early 70s, and one of our school friend's Mom was our AVON lady.. she came every week to sit with us and show us the new products, (and leave us samples!) and bring us what our allowance bought. We always made sure the house was immaculate for her visit. We went through the 70's in our teens with AVON, going through the awesome brochures deciding on the next fun purchase! (I had the choc chip cookie lip gloss.. yum!) & my first lipstick was a sample .. (rum raisin) that I just used lightly to color & outline to give natural look which was "In" in the 70s. That sample lasted me a looong time! Yes to the SSS, (still have!) Miss the variety though, and unique products and constant new and old fav. Avon fragrances ! It was a positive and wonderful memory! I really wish AVON would go back to that MO!!! I sure Miss THAT AVON!!!!
My Noni was an avid collector of Avon perfume and cologne bottles. I have fond memories of them from when I was a little girl in the 80s. But unfortunately as an adult who suffers from migraines triggered by scent, I can now only admire them from afar. Avon perfume is seriously potent. The scent lingers even when the bottles are empty.
Yes, Avon is dear to my heart. I have bought Avon for at least 50 years. I graduated college in 1972 and some if the girls in the firm sold Avon. I loved the Hawaiian White Ginger and Somewhere. I have a good size collection of Avon decanters; my favorites are the peacock and the rooster. I have used Nurtura replenishing cream for 45 years. I sold Avon for 19 years and was a President’s Club representative. I still buy Avon but it is now a Korean owned company and it becoming more of an online cosmetic company. Thank you for your carefully researched video.
Keep those.....and if Antiques Roadshow comes to your area , consider having them appraised just for fun. There's a market for certain types of items sold in unique containers from decades ago that most everyone else didn't think to keep.
My Grandma sold Avon for years. I know all of those bottles lol. My Aunt had most of them. I wore Cotillion. I always loved getting the tiny white tubes of lipstick samples. You could use them a few times before it was gone, as a young teen, these were great.
I was the right age for SWEET HONESTY at the time. It was marketed for teens and I liked that section in the booklet. I ,also, had the Spanish Señorita figurine cologne on my vanity among other lovely Avon products as well. My mother sold Avon!
I sold Avon in the 80’ it help to make side money while going to school, later I didn’t but remain a supportive customer buying mostly toys, clothes & other products Avon introduced over the years, I use cosmetics seldom & perfumes rarely but will purchase all kinds to give away gifts… I also enjoy the Tupperware era where I hosted parties for people to sell- I miss the catalogs and those times when we could get together & enjoy community & comradeship♥️🤝🎈 I enjoy watching this vid, thanks for sharing… I’ll visit the website to see what’s available now… of course buy some of the old & new cool stuff we all like and love! By the way, I didn’t know the name was drown from the cradle of Shakespeare town where I visit Stratford upon Avon sometime ago 🎭 a very delightful town in England!
I was only 4 years old in 1973 but I remember the lips and the chocolate chip cookie gloss. So crazy! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I also watched your homes in the 70's and remembered many of those things.
Wow! What a walk down memory lane! Thank you for this video. My Grandma, Aunt and Mom all bought Avon. I remember sitting at my Grandma's kitchen table, going through the catalog. And looking through everything on my Aunt's vanity. And almost always receiving something from Avon on my birthday. As a teenager, I had every bubble bath they had, would get under the sink and choose. This video just brought back so many memories. Years later, I met my boyfriend in 2018. He has several items he has on a shelf...trucks, a screwdriver, a boot, a spark plug, a pistol, lol and a few others, all bottles or plastic shapes, that once held cologne. He said his Mom bought them for him and he cherishes them. I think a lot of us that grew up in the 70's and 80's have similar experiences and memories of Avon. It really was so different back then too, I miss those days😢
I echo the comment that Honeysuckle was my favorite. I found it at a garage sale for the first time, long after discontinuation. It was a tiny bit like DVF's Tatiana, only possibly better! Just ambrosial floral in a bottle.
My mother had an Avon perfume collection, and my favorite of hers was Moonwind in the cream and orange Victorian Lady as well as green antique telephone bottles, and I had Sweet Honesty in a pink thimble and spool
I loved the little lipstick samples, I always hoped my grandma would let me try them ( she did.) The Avon book had a section for kids, loved that. When I grew up I used SSS, Anew skin care, lip care, I was totally into Avon.
Wow.....this brings back memories! I was a young girl in the 70's, but I remember a lot of the ads and products. One of my favorite memories was a lip gloss that came in a container shaped like a cheeseburger.
WOW! What a delightful trip down memory lane. Yes; I did have a lot of these. I was a teenager in the 1970s and remember all my items. You really struck a chord with this video. My mother was absolutely stunningly beautiful and looked like a TWIN to Rita Hayworth. So much so that people would think it was the famous actress, and they would always ask for her autograph! She wore all the high-end Parisian Perfumes of the times (Channel #5 - Poison - Ives Saint Lorene- Emoruad etc.) but also loved many of the products in Avon. She loved the dark blue "Moonwnd" and had the whole set. I wore the sheer pink/almost white lipstick with one of their fun clear or strawberry lip gloss on top. I had the little yellow Southern Belle perfume and it was a gift from my Aunt. My mother & sister and I would pour over the Avon catalog for hours and mark each product we wanted with a Bic Pen. The Skin So Soft was a great bug spray and also made a great tanning oil when mixed with baby oil (and Mecurechrome). We never got bug bites and it was great for your skin when you were surfing as it would stay on after going into the ocean. Thank you for this video. My mother has passed on to her heavenly home now, as well as all my Aunts. But, having some of the Avon decanters and powders sweetly reminds me of them all.
As children, we were gifted some Avon Pretty Peach toiletries - I think shampoo, bubble bath and what looked like a small tub of peaches which opened to reveal body creme. Loved it! I still have some Avon milk glass, two containing candles which still smell divine and take me right back. Ah, nostalgia.
I'm 68 and I STILL use Sweet Honesty! My fave back then was one called "Come Summer" though (long discontinued). My mom bought me my first little lip gloss from Avon when I was around 11 or 12. She surprised me with it. I never forgot that. I got ALL my jewelry from Avon when I worked in an office, and also clothing when they started selling Newport News.
I remember when I was about 10 (1971), the Avon lady as we called her, would come to our house. I think my Mother felt pressured to buy something every time she would come, so I ended up getting Hawaiian White Ginger stick perfume and a few Perfumes in the limited edition glass bottles. One was a yellow plastic lady with a full frosted glass skirt and the other a hunk of frosted glass cheese wedge with a gold mouse as the cap. Both were simple "Granny" rose perfumes that I didn't really like, but that was what the Avon Lady suggested as the appropriate perfume for a young girl. To this day I hate plain rose perfumes, haha! I also had the chocolate cookie shown in a photo here that unscrewed to reveal two frosted lip glosses, one pink and one peach. I saved that for years and then just threw it out one day in my 30s. I wish I had kept those things now. Those were my first perfumes until Loves Baby Soft in High School and on it goes till the large fragrance collection I own today.
I lived in the country growing up. My grandma would spray us with skin so soft before going out in the evening to play. She said it would repel the mosquitoes. I do remember it working. I just love the memory of her doing that whether it actually worked or not ❤
My best friend Suzy,s mom was a Avon lady. We loved to raid her stash of samples! This was in the 60’s and they had mini lipsticks to sample and we just had to try them all on to her mother’s chagrin… we ruined them unfortunately. She would try to hide them in the closet or in the attic but we always found them..for hours we try on all the makeup eyeshadows, powder, blush we were in heaven..so much so I spent my career in the makeup business from sales to artistry and even development. 30+ years in HEAVEN! By the the way many moms sold makeup door to door, Jafra, Mary Kay, etc…..it was an awaking of female entrepreneurship.
Starting at 0:53 is Pam Dawber, Mindy, from ‘Mork & Mindy’ wearing the Sweet Honesty t-shirt. I didn’t realize she did any modeling before she was an actress.
we always had Avon in the house .. Sweet Honesty, Moonwind, Bird of Paradise, Hawaiian White Ginger .. my sister eventually became an Avon lady and that was fabulous!
My grandma bought so much Avon. When I was too old for kid perfume but too young for the “fancy stuff” we landed on Avon’s Here’s My Heart. I still have a white glass poodle decanter that has a faint scent of it. They also made a girls’ perfume called Small World that came in bottles that looked like dolls from different countries. I still have one with blonde molded hair and a purple dress with printed white lace. Also has a faint scent. Small World was a better scent than Tinkerbell, the most common girls’ perfume. I also had a little bottle of Avon Apple Blossom perfume in middle school that I loved. Flowery but fresh.
I ❤️ Avon. My mom sold Avon in the 1970's-1980's. I like the Skin So Soft in the pink bottle. My grandma had the cologne decanters shaped like chess pieces. She used the same Avon red lipstick for years until that particular shade was discontinued.
I was a preteen and teen in the 70s and I loved the Avon catalogs. Also loved the kitschy decanters and bottles, both of my grandmas had some but my mom didn't like Avon.
I wore Sweet Honesty for years in the 70s and didn't realize it was still around. Avon Jewelry especially their poison rings with the solid perfume is another wonderful product. My mother wore Topaz and Honeysuckle for years. Loved these products as a teenager. Skin so Soft does keep mosquitoes away we this used it all summer.
My mom sold Avon when I was a kid. That was so long ago. I’m 69 and I still use Avon. We are an Avon family. My Avon lady is Lisa, I think I know more about Avon then she does. When I go thrifting, I alway look for Avon perfume bottles. Thank for sharing
I am going back to the late 50s and early 60s. My mother bought Rich Moisture Cream, bath oil and lipstick from her Avon Lady. I recall a light pink lipstick that smelled wonderful. Loved looking through the catalogs and samples. My mother collected Perfume Bottles. She passed away at 91 and I have her collection. Some are antiques now. She was born in 1921.
I absolutely LOVED Avon. I was big into the colognes and rhinestone jewelry. My favorite perfumes were Apple Blossom, Field And Flowers, Unforgettable, and loved the Rose, Lilac, Jasmine and White Ginger Sachet creams. My mom loved the Skin So Soft, and we both loved the glycerin lotion. I also bought some of the lipsticks.
As a yong married in the 1970s I sold Avon as a sideline. Mostly to get me out and walking after sitting all day at work. A large part of my profits went into buying Avon products for myself ( with a sellers discount😉). I loved Skin so Soft , Candid, Hawaiian White Ginger. Dew Kiss moisterizer was great. I also loved the cream sachets especially the classic Rapture fragrence.
Avon…wow. I remember our Avon Lady bringing her little catalogs. We had the decorative decanters in our bathroom. The boot, some kind of bird (a pheasant I think), a deer with antlers, and some other themed bottle. We always had Skin So Soft in the bathroom too. I used to get excited to get those toys they had in the back of the catalog. Lots of good memories.
I wore Sweet Honestly, Candid and a favourite was Topaz. I bought the bird of paradise lotion along with the skin so Soft. I loved their bubble bath. My friends sold Avon in High School. I do remember that Ginger fragrance, it was so exotic. Great Video!
I remember in the early 90's my mom got her kit to sell Avon....this is where my love for makeup began ........Those little perfume packets & tiny lipsticks were so fascinating to me. My mom would get so upset when I would sample her samples lol
I was stull getting avon in Scotland in the 90's. A lady used to come with the catalogue, come backa few days later to collect your order and a week later you got your order. It was great for someone who lived in a village where the store only sold basics products.
My college roommate sold Avon in the early 70’s…got me hooked on Sweet Honesty and Timeless. I wore those scents in the anti-perspirants for years, so affordable!
My mom and grandma were both Avon ladies in the 70s. My sister and I would help my mom bag the orders while sitting in front of the tv (watching Dallas, Love Boat, or Fantasy Island). We always had lots of Avon in our house!
The best thing about Avon in the 1970’s: the adorable mini lipstick samples! ❤💋💄
Yes!!
They were around also in 90s/ 2000s..my mom used to have some samples❤
@@amierikke6225 Do you know why the Avon lady walks funny? Her lipstick. 😆😄😁
YESSS!! I was a young girl, but got them from friends whose Moms were Avon Ladies.
I wish Avon would bring back some of their products and packaging from the ‘70’s even for a limited time.
Who else loved the little sample lipsticks? I was a « tween » and they were so cool!
Me too !!
Omg Sweet Honesty and by BF wore I think it was called Candid?. But Sweet Honesty was mine and the SSS
My mom brought Avon too.
Same here
I always loved the scratch and sniff pages
My mom was sophisticated. She didn’t buy Avon for herself but if someone at her office sold it, she’d pick up a few of the girl things for me. I really loved how sophisticated she was. She taught me so much in her body care and to see all the jars and bottles on her 70s vanity table made me happy. She made me so proud that she was my mom, coming to school and looking ao pretty, looking so pretty at work. It was a different time and there was so much put into going to work. She was so beautiful.
I remember Avon was a "glamor stock" like Xerox! Fortunes were made by people who bought Avon stock at the right time.
AHH that's lovely about your mum most mum's born in the thirties wore lovely clothes perfume my mum did up to 91yrs old
@joannanangle4876 God bless your mom. wow, what a blessing 🙌 🙏 ❤️
My grandma was one of the top accounts for avon, she passed away on Christmas Eve and we've been going through her stuff. She has soooo much vintage avon. The car colognes, cream satchel, the floral solid perfume, jewelry, nursery rhymes perfume etc and we're not even half way through. Such nice memories for you and your family!
@@dogsareprecious4842 they are such sweet reminders of her.

Skin so soft smells so good
One of my all time favorites.
We used it in the 70’s to repel gnats and mosquitoes, it works!
I wish Avon would bring back the solid perfume sticks!... Honeysuckle was one of my favorite.
Things I remember:
*Leafing through the new Avon catalogs, left in the laundry room of the apartment building I grew up in.
*Admiring the glass perfume bottles on my mom's dresser. I remember a cat with a long neck.
* Those tiny lipstick samples.
*Slipping in the bathtub on Skin So Soft residue.
❤❤

I had the perfume pins especially the Easter Bunny on roller skates
That eyeshadow wand was a lot of fun, greasy though. But yes, I wish they'd embrace nostalgia. Everything nowadays is discontinued. Good luck finding ANY company product.
Flashbacks 😊
Their bubble bath was the sh!t! I loved it!
The big tall pink bottle. I loved that. Also at Christmas they would have it in special edition containers 😊
Avon has some really good products. I wish influencers would at least check them out. Thanks for the nostalgia!
My grandma STILL sells Avon to this day!!!
Anyone remember Pearls and Lace? My mom sold Avon in the early 80s... I loved looking in her boxes and smelling everything. The bath paint soap in roll on bottles were so fun. Yes, I loved pearls and lace. It was my favorite back in the day from Avon. ❤
My very first "grown up" perfume was a bottle of Pearls And Lace perfume when I was about 13. I loved that line and used to love buying Avon.
I wore Pearls and Lace.
I have a customer now in 2024 that has me looking /watching out for pearl & lace. I love Candid and sweet honesty and the Hawaiian blend it smelted good
Omg- yes, yes! I still have a half used bottle… ❤
I still buy Avon Skin-So-Soft bath oil. The scent is timeless, heavenly & really does leave your skin soft.
Avon was still a huge thing in the 80's where I come from. I used to get avon samples as a little girl growing up as gifts.
How fun! I wore Sweet Honesty in the 70’s. I also was a nanny to an Avon lady! She always gave me the mini sample lipsticks! I adored their catalogues. Thanks!❤️🌹
I grew up on Avon in the 60s and 70s in the late 70s I was in high school the most popular was sweet honesty, candid and Hawaiian white ginger

I loved Occur cream perfume. I wish we still had Avon in Australia. I was an Avon Representative for a while. I miss Avon :(
Ahhhhh Skin So Soft. My mom and step mom used to put it on us kids at every outdoor event to keep the mosquitos away. And it really worked. I had forgotten all about that stuff. Very common for my mom to put in my bath water too.

My mom was an Avon Lady. I loved having all the tiny lipstick samples in the house to try! She used to swear by Silicone Glove for her hands.
Margie was our Avon lady until Peggy took over from her. Mom wore Roses Roses, Dad used Wild Country, and I wore Sweet Honesty. I remember I loved the lipstick samples! Margie would give me the colors nobody wanted to play with. ;-)
Oh, the lip glosses! They did scent that way too! I had a pin that had a bin on the back that had Sweet Honesty in it!
I’d forgotten Roses Roses! I wish they’d bring the old fragrances back.
Charisma,Sweet Honesty and Ariane were my favorite scents from back then
I was an Avon lady when I was 22 in 1975 here in England. Connie ❤
I would also LOVE to go back in time and attend an Avon party !!!! Actually, go back and re-live SO many moments of my 1970's childhood.
I loved Hawaiian White Ginger. I couldn't afford much, and the little demistiks were affordable for me back then. I was sad when they discontinued that scent. It was fun to see this catalog you have that actually had the demistiks!
I loved their perfume bottle designs!
Yes! Moonwind always looked so elegant and sophisticated! 😄
I was a Avon representative for 10 years. I love Avon.
Still love the ‘pink’ bubble bath.
Back in the 80s, I used to sell Avon. I had so much fun
Please do a '50s/'60s version of this! Loved this video!!
Cotillion,My Grandma's favorite ❤,and Unforgettable cream perfume
"Avon Calling!"
Thanks so much for watching!!
I have the “ looking good feeling beautiful” Avon book of beauty from 1981 that still has coupons in the back. Absolutely beautiful 😍
Oh wow neat
I remember our Avon lady and loved when she came by. My mom bought us the little perfume pins for kids. I still have them.
Yes !! For holidays usually ! The rabbit is my fav !!
I sold Avon in the 80’ it help to make side money while going to school, later I didn’t but remain a supportive customer buying mostly toys, clothes & other products Avon introduced over the years, I use cosmetics seldom & perfumes rarely but will purchase all kinds to give away gifts…
I also enjoy the Tupperware era where I hosted parties for people to sell- I miss the catalogs and those times when we could get together & enjoy community & comradeship♥️🤝🎈
I enjoy watching this vid, thanks for sharing… I’ll visit the website to see what’s available now… of course buy some of the old & new cool stuff we all like and love!
And their lipsticks they had so many beautiful colors. I used to order so many 💄💄💄💄
The Avon lady always came to our house. My Mom bought me Timeless perfume in the 70s for my birthday or Christmas.
I would love if they brought back those fun lip glosses!❤
I echo the comment that Honeysuckle was my favorite. I found it at a garage sale for the first time, long after discontinuation. It was a tiny bit like DVF's Tatiana, only possibly better! Just ambrosial floral in a bottle.
Hawaiian white ginger… still have, sweet honesty .. still have!
The Avon bird cage spray bottle with lily of the valley scent was lovely & smelled divine. 🐦
I loved their cream soap
I just love the memory of her doing that whether it actually worked or not ❤
It works!
I love Avon. My favorite perfume was Odyssey. And the musk, I think it was called midnight musk
Yes. I still have that. Use it sparingly but it’s gorgeous!
we always had Avon in the house .. Sweet Honesty, Moonwind, Bird of Paradise, Hawaiian White Ginger .. my sister eventually became an Avon lady and that was fabulous!
Anyone else remember cute cookie cologne? The gingerbread man bottle was super cute.good memories!
Skin so soft is lovely. I'll have to check if I can still buy that
You can ! I still do
I would love an 80s Avon vid!!!!
I loved the pack of three soaps😍
I love Skin So Soft , it actually helps take the itch out of insect bites and it's so relaxing
Happy to see you upload great video 🎉🎉🎉😮
I loved the cream perfumes. Yes, loved Sweet Honesty. I remember Charisma and Moonwind too.
Moonwind !!!!❤
Love this! I had the hamburger, strawberry and chocolate chip cookie lip balms…they were so good, especially the strawberry one.
I used Sweet Honesty in the late 70s. I was 14-15. Loved it.
I had that eye shadow wand. I also had a Hawaiian White Ginger Demistick.
