Woodturning : Hexagon Pattern Epoxy Resin and Wood Coffee Mug

Woodturning is always fun even more so when you can add in some epoxy resin casting and also find new ways to use the CNC machine to add in some cool hexagon patterns similar to what is seen in good many epoxy resin river tables. This is what I came up with for a fun project to incorporate all those woodworking processes. This custom make coffee mug was a bit of and experiment and I think it was a success. You should make a video where you scrunch up some newspaper into a ball shape, leave it in resin so the resin fills up all the “cracks” of the newspaper wrinkles, and then make make a ball or interesting shape out of that

Normally I need music or something going on to occupy the auditory part of my adhd brain to be able to focus on whatever I’m seeing and watching but my goodness, I was so transfixed that I didn’t even realize there was no music and the video was fairly silent until the end when music DID kick on
