What if someone doesn’t have the ice cream maker?

@@NutritionRefined thanks for the reply 😊 I am also looking for a good vegan recipe that includes aquafaba as a key ingredient. Chocolate is my favourite flavour. Have you tried aquafaba yet? I want to understand the science how it works. I know how to make creamy dairy-based ice cream as I know the proportions, role of things like condensed milk. But I’m totally unaware how creaminess works in vegan alternatives. I’m not a hard core vegan but it’s always a preference.

Yes for blueberries. I have never tried making this ice cream with monk fruit, so I am not sure, but I would try it for sure.

I am confused about the vanilla. In the recipe it’s written 1/2(1/2). I don’t use vanilla beans but vanilla extract. How many teaspoons of vanilla extract should I use?
MY apologies for the confusion. 1/2 vanilla bean equals 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract.

I would blitz up the strawberries and cook them, in order to get rid of its high water content. Water= cristals in your ice, right?
Think that would make it better……
I totally get what you're saying and I have certainly made ice cream recipes where I cooked the strawberries to reduce the water content. However, I really don't find it necessary for this recipe (the cashews make the ice cream extra creamy).
