4 journals - what fun!! it is so good to follow your process, something we don't always understand. I have been collecting paper bags and once I get back upstairs I will definitely be making a bag journal or two. thank you so much Corrine.

I feel your pain, lol ... watching your video was a little like looking in a mirror - I struggle with the same issues re using EH book pages and always have so many ideas running around in my head that nothing actually gets done! Maybe I should start thinking out loud too? Thanks for another great video, I'm going to enjoy watching these journals come together.

LOVE your thought processes! They help me so much to sort thru all the myriad and overwhelming thoughts and ideas that come to mind. So much fun!

I’m a little sorry to say this, but I’m so happy that you couldn’t decide what to do as your next project. I started collecting Edith Holden books at least a year ago. The first one came. It had a GORGEOUS lavender cover with pristine pages. It just matches the shade of purples that I use in my decorating. I just knew there was NO WAY I could ever cut into it. So I ordered some older junky ones. Lol. Now I have quite a pile. When the second one came, I took it apart right away before I chickened out. Lol. However, when I spent July making my first ever junk journal, I never used any of her pages. I did have a ton of things I wanted to try out. So, July is over, and my heart turned to mini journals. My porch prints has all of these cool ideas and digitals that I could use, but our printer is really bad with colors. So then I found an old altoid tin. I redid it and now I want a little journal to go in it. Lol. I’m out of control. I think about the kinds of journals I could make all the time. Also, my art is feeling much more free. Really free. I was a perfectionist. I’m getting better. I watched you create your Japan trip journal and it helped me so much. I love that journal. You are on your way. I love Edith. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

I love her books so much. I have both of these in my collection but dread gutting them. Maybe I'll just copy some of the pages on my scanner and make a cover. Have fun with your journal!

Thankyou so much, I'am just so excited to get started, your work is AMAZING. Can I ask one question, how do you manage to print on both sides of the paper, and get them matching. So when you tear the edges, its evenly printed on both sides of the paper, if you get my meaning. I'd love if you have time to reply. Thankyou from Ireland

Hi.. you need to do a test print.. and find files that a same size when they print.. once you have printed a pretty page .. then on the back make and (X in pencil) place the page back into the tray.. remember where your X (upside down in the tray).. print again .. art with lines.. just something different.. see where is prints.. then adjust and print again.. and again .. same paper until it’s correct and up the correct way.. I’m pre recording these videos.. I’m about to record ep. 16… I will talk it thur on that video too. Sorry I can added it into videos sooner for you! It’s all about learn how your print takes in your paper! Good luck hope that helps

Watching along with interest and if I may ask a question. You said you don't journal and neither do I and that's why I don't make journals anymore. I have tubs upon tubs of supplies I collected and printed etc, spent so much money and went hmmm why am I making these as I don't use them. Only have a small circle of family and friends so they don't want to be gifted time and time again. I have etsy and I've never tried to sell them, it's an option yes but not sure if it's a path I want to take. so my question is what do you do with your journals :D

Hi Lesley.. it is tricky for you and I .. non journalers! (Not even a Word) .. if your gifting circle is exhausted, selling them is the next step.. and sell them for good price.. that is also a gift to the purchaser! Then they will sell fast.. moving them on! Also look for charity groups that make hampers .. maybe your journals can be added to them! Below is a link to a series I have been working on all year.. 20 charity journals.. you may have already watch these video.. if not it may open up a new idea for you!

The Edith Holden dust cover could also be turned into a journal cover.

Other authors w similar artistry are:
    Tasha Tudor, Margaret Pickston,
Marjolein Bastin. “Flowers of the Holy Land”, by Bertha Spafford Vester; and
“Cultivated Flowers”, by Frank J. Anderson are also possibilities for journalism.
