Love SVU; but.. this ep was kinda confusing in terms of which case was the main point. We atarted with the rainvow party and it had many posibillities to develope... but then we switched to the measles outbreak; importante yes but I think the first plop should've get more attention.
Season 16 Episode 19 (Granting Immunity) in 2015 Main Cast: Mariska Hargitay as Sergeant Olivia Benson Danny Pino as Dectetive Nicolas "Nick" Amaro Jr Kelli Giddish as Dectetive Amanda Rollins Ice-T as Dectetive Odafin "Fin" Tutuola Raúl Esparza as ADA Rafael Barba
Olivia always wanted to be a mother but the adoption angency had turn her down because she had no family, worked long hours this was when she told Elliott back in season 9 when they was standing by the elevator. Olivia found Noah while working on a case, Noah biological parents are dead( Ellie was burned alive , Johnny D was shot & killed in the courtroom by Nick Amaro). After everything with Noah , Judge Linden let Olivia adopted him even though she still worked long hours along with the SVU team
I hope Noah survives. This episode is similar to the episode Selfish because one mother wouldn't vaccinate her son because of religious reasons. You gotta hate people that do that, believing that God doesn't want you vaccinated against diseases.
Jackie Steel LOL I was just thinking that I said "Wait, did they just recycle that episodes from a couple of seasons ago"? But while I respect people's religious beliefs it shouldn't be allowed to endanger the lives of other people around you, especially kids. if God didn't want you to vaccinate your kids then why would he have given the man, Dr. John Franklin Enders, the amazing brain talent to develop it in the first place? Thats my rebuttal
19EHF if that's your reasoning then God gives all men the ability to do everything he does? So the man who created cigarettes or gmo's or whatever else man creates is due to god? Try researching why people choose not to vaccinate.. I'm sure God doesn't approve of the aborted fetus cells in vaccines or anything they do to his beautiful children. Read #vacceptableinjuries
Love how they are helping breed fear and hatred.. Way to go producers. Give yourselves a pat on the back for continuing to spread misconceptions, lies and hate.
All fiction is derived from some truth. People pay more attention to fiction if the truth is thrown into it. Or people pay more attention to the truth when fiction is thrown into it.
Vaccination debate aside, this was one of the worst episodes of SVU EVER. I couldn't believe it. The show is getting stupider and stupider, with it's constant "ripped from the headlines" bullshit that just isn't interesting or compelling at all. And every single week, Noah is sick, blonde woman is gambling and drunk, new guy's brother in law getting raped, someone's cousin is back from the dead, blah blah blah. Does EVERY story have to include the detectives? What the hell happened to this show???
If That woman in this episode that just preached and preached about vaccines being awful should be put away for life if it was not a tv show. What gives her the right to say vaccines cause autism. She makes me sick.
hahahaha. I was born in the 1950s and every mom took their kids to the house with measles so we'd all be sick from school the same week and have immunity. We all survived measles, every one of us, and never got it again with natural immunity. In fact, it was doctor recommended practice to expose children specifically so they'd get it for immunity. Moms did the same thing for mumps. All of us lived. Thousands of us in the 1950s got measles, none of us died. It's a rash, itching, fever and then we go back to school. Kids thought it was great because we'd be sick on the sofa with other kids brought over to play and entertain us. :D When we saw this episode we laughed. People love to be scared of anything. :D
Moral of the episode: If you have a sibling or relative who is an infant, don't ever kiss them if you're sick
Love how they cover real life issues.
Shame they simplify the issues till it becomes cartoonish
Man Noah can't catch a break
This time he did. I'm grateful.
@@jackiesteel12I’m glad too.

Olivia's foster son, Amaro's son and the measles outbreak. Wow!
Ikr. Noah gonna be okay. Hopefully Nick get his son vaccinated as well as his daughter
Those parents think because they have $$ 💰, they can do whatever they want. WRONG!!!.
Exactly. Even famous people get in trouble with the law
@@alishashay17 Definitely.
this could play out today!!
the world needs olivia benson
My critical thinking class brought me here.
It is at 0:24 that Nick or Trevor should come and comfort Olivia
It was Nick.
Oh Noooooo! :(

It’s episodes like this one that make it hard to see teens in a positive light
Once they brought in a kid, that was pretty much it for me.

19EHF exactly
God created our immune systems and I'm sure he wouldn't want us injecting toxins in our perfect little ones

making it more 😱 dramatic no drama no views 😉
They are jumping the shark on this one.
Pure, unadulterated BS. Does anybody really buy into this propaganda?
