Regarding the audio quality. We just use a simple overhead boom with a stereo mic; I did just check and it was backwards (left was right etc). The effect you're talking about may be the noise filter we used in post-processing. Bear in mind, we're not a video production company! The other issue: youtube doesn't allow you to edit a video once posted.
Did you use a stereo mic to record the sound? It sounds out of phase, voice separated far right and left with nothing in the middle. Something may be wired wrong...
