Daisy should have more ground speed, she is more energetic, so it has sense to be faster than Peach (and maybe less air speed to compesate)

I think Daisy should pull different items to make her more different from Peach, instead of putting a Bob-omb & Mr.Saturn she could pull a *Fire Flower* & *Lips Stick* to match her Flower Theming
Imo Daisy should have stronger normals, weaker specials, be faster on the ground and not have float.
A cool nod would be giveing her Peach's old animations from melee and etc. Like Up-Air being a headbutt and Down throw being that hulk hogan leg drop.

1.) They could re-create her moves, granted it'd be more work than say, Wolf, but they could/should-have done it.
2.) Yeah, but... does Daisy float? Like, I know she does crazy stuff like Peach and I know floating is mostly a smash thing, but it just don't seem right to me for whatever reason. Plus, I think Float would be a bit much if you take my approach an make her normals stronger than Peach's.

@@TheMasterBlaze Be careful saying what the developers could/should have done. Daisy in SSBU cost little more than a character model in terms of developer resources; if she was to be a more fully-realized character on her own she might not have even been in the game at all because that's a lot more work and resources are not infinite.
Watch out for NY player Big Mike. He's the best Marth I've ever seen

Dark Samus actually has one more kind of advantage over Samus, her dash is weird so Mario's dattack misses sometimes
assuming the Samus player would run into a completely able Mario, if its not to punish or making an extension, theres no reason to run into your opponent when you should just camp.

Maybe we can get an echo fighter for Robin who is decently fast, but may have less durability or a weaker levin sword.
That would make no sense. She's an Avatar. She has a male counterpart and no need for an echo.

@@mathishd5558 I don't mean counterpart in a sense of them being any different in their movement, move set etc. I played their original games and I'm saying that having an echo fighter for Robin, wouldn't make sense.

Honestly I think that the echo should have more differences (like for example on hit faster than the other but does less damage or one is more resistant than the other and does more damage)

@@memoryman3586 not exactly originally he was going to be a skin but apparently it was to hard to remplaced the fireball by pills and also most of the Dr.Mario's moveset aren't the same for Mario and I know that Roy and Chrome does have different moveset but that's the only exception who screwed that rule
The are some more echo differences they didn't go into for this video, also there are more players that rep Ryu such a Vendetta(Yes Vedetta mains both Ryu and Ken pretty well) and Munekin.

Lucina is better than Marth because she doesn’t have the tipper mechanic and then Chrom is better than Roy for pretty much the same reason.
I get that Princess Daisy was made to capitalize on the success of Princess Peach, but no matter what, Daisy will always end up being a discount Peach.
@My Name Is Donk And I Love To Honk It's true that there are games that Daisy and Peach are in together, but it's mostly spin-offs and sports games. I know that Daisy is the better princess, but Peach always gets the best of attention only because she's more iconic and well-known even in the 1990s.

TL:DR: avoid playing Marth
I'm legitimately better with Marth. Dancing Blade sucks online, but is worth the effort when offline. Kills at 70% out of a tech chase. Plus I get tons of shield breaks which I use to tipper F-smash and kill my opponents at 30%

I feel like Pit's arrows are better for gimping but Dark Pit's arrows are better for neutral and just overall combat

I get keeping the takeaways from Lucina vs. Marth short, but it would have been nice to at least get some more useful comparisons between them beyond "Math has tippers", especially with all the useful info given for every other comparison here.
...but that's basically all that's different, really. I'd have to double-check to be sure, but I think their frame data and relevant character attributes are the same.
@@alondite215 I mean yeah, but even between Roy and Chrom they still managed to point out a few interactions that are easier for each character, like how Chrom does ledge trapping and air-to-airs better.

If you were somehow able to hit only tippers with Marth, then yes he’d be better than Lucina, maybe even the best in the game, but no human would be capable of that

He's right, most Fire Emblem fan whould agree. Awakening as really bad map design and really favors snowballing, as most maps consist of empty battlefields with weak unit it's easy to solo maps by putting any trained unit in range and watching them all die

With the exception of Ken, every other echo fighter is the laziest moveset design I've ever seen in this game
ALL of them have potential for unique movesets, so the fact that they don't just screams laziness to me
I could be wrong but doesn’t Daisy have a slightly wider hurt box than peach in some animations and peach has a slightly taller hurt box than Daisy in some animations
Daisy is lower but extends her arms horizontally while Peach is higher and doesn't extend her arms
I don't know why I even watch this channel. I'm just a casual player who plays Smash for my own fun, or with friends. I'm never gonna take these pro tips into consideration. I guess learning this stuff is just interesting enough for me to stick around, but god knows if I ever learn shit here, lol. Anyway, good video, but Daisy is far superior to Peach, how dare you.

just watch it for entertainment, at the end of the day, experience is the only thing that would make you improve if you want to play more seriously, but if you want casual, funny smash content, try Yo Videogames or Lythero channels.

Personally I choose:
Dark Samus: I prefer the darker color palette, particle effects, taunts and lower Charge Shot.
Peach: Daisy's personality is to noisy for my liking (that doesn't mean I don't suck with both).
Marth: I prefer his sweetspots. And I value more my sinergy with the character than the characters strenght.
Ryu: Same reasons as Peach.
Simon: Blue fire looks cooler.
Dark Pit: I prefer the stronger and faster arrows and Side-B for gaining stage control. And the victory screens.

Wait, Richter and Simon have different side special behavior. Simon's return's on hit, whereas Richter's is uninterrupted and goes its full length.
not true, both can pass uninterrupted (more so if you tap the stick) and only return earlier if shielded.

This just my opinion of who’s better
I think
Dark pit is slightly better than pit
Dark samus is slightly better than samus
Roy is slightly better than chrom
Peach and daisy are literally the same
Simon is slightly better than richter because his holy fire affects more matchups.
For Ken and Ryu, these two are significantly different so I don’t know what to say. It more comes down to your play style.
Ryu has better zoning and better kill power.
Ken is slightly faster on the ground and has slightly more options for combos.
I guess I would say Ryu is slightly better just due to his hadoken alone but I think people play Ken more because of his flashy shoryuken and combos.
Marth is worse than Lucina in basically every way except for when ur opponent has their shield broken. When they have their shield broken it’s stupidly easy to line up a tipper and kill way earlier than Lucina would have been able to. But that is a very rare case scenario. And hardly ever happens. And even when it does it’s not that significantly better to greatly affect the set.

they are not even echos, they have a lot more properties changed then ken, Though ken in exchange for same attack properties, Has different moves, Also Clones who appeared in melee don't count as echos, which also applies to Pichu and Young Link

Because Echoes all have the same weight and traction and fall speed. That is what makes them an Echo.
Dark pits side b is better at breaking sheilds than pits side b and is more powerful
But it’s extremely unsafe on shield so you should not try to use it to break a shield

Also: Marth got so many buffs that he is actually able to get strong finishes.
And Marth also kills earlier with the buffed up tipper that he were getting during the previous buffs. And Marth's Counter has more reach, can follow up on their combos, and neutral b does more damage than Lucina actually giving Marth a playable favor in some areas.

I have a friend who thinks there’s a difference between both ritcher and Simon. He believes that Simon is “bigger” and has stronger hit boxes. He also believes that Simon is lengthier therefore he can get more hits than Ritcher. I showed him your video to debunk his theory that there’s literally only one difference between the characters and he says “that’s only opinionated”. I would appreciate it if you responded to my comment and gave your response to his comment about your whole page being “opinionated” 🤦🏽♂️
Peach is VERY SLIGHTLY taller than Daisy while Daisy is a wider due to her arms sticking out. Peaches arms are straight. I'd say Peach is better.

I'm the kind of guy who plays Marth over Lucina but Chrom instead of Roy
Another reason to hate Daisy: So unoriginal that her only original trait in her move set was taken out of smash

As a daisy main, when I played peach she felt REALLY different from daisy but idk
Other than appearance the only differences is a very very small difference in hitbox size for like 2 animations that make Daisy bigger but that’s it. Basically not anything that will affect gameplay in any large capacity, pointless character. Should’ve just had her be like Alph

I’d love to see some differences added
Dark Samus: Charge shot takes longer to fully charge but once it does it’s stronger
Dark samus is slightly lighter than Samus
Side b: missles home better but are slower and less damage
Bombs: dark Samus different bombs completely, these bombs turn into mini black holes which can mess up ur opponent and edge guard with. They also fall and dont explode for like a second longer
Up b: Dark Samus is complete different making it a teleport recovery like mewtwo
Daisy:
Daisy can’t float as long but has better luck pulling from down b she also falls slightly faster but is slightly heavier than peach.
Up b, daisys goes higher and does more damage and knock back however you have less control with moving in the air with it.
Side b daisys is stronger and has a faster startup but more endlag if missed
Neutral b, daisys stays active for longer but that also means more endlag if missed
Down b: daisy had better luck
Chrom is slightly slower but heavier
Chrom: up b stays the same
Side b: stays the same
Neutral b: has a smaller explosion and less endlag but less powerful
Down b: stays the same
Back air gets changed to links back air,
Down air gets changed to Lucinas down air
Dark pit: up b goes less distance but has a hit box
N b: stays the same
Side b: stays the same
Down b: does more damage when reflecting but doesn’t stall In air like pits will

If Dark Samus can hit shorter characters with certain moves, does that mean Samus can hit easier on characters higher up?
Yeah, but hitting grounded characters is definitely more important than hitting a few pixels higher into the air. If your up smash anti-air an opponent as Samus, it's probably still going to hit with Dark Samus.
