I learned in the hard way as I bought one for my 2016 Ford Escape trying to access my srs module RCM and the S7 says “ car not support “ 🤦🏻 wasted my money but I like the company I saw they have bi-directional units for low price.
bought it and the ECM displayed the wrong mileage...even switched to "km" and still showed it in "miles"..not only that but it was off by 11k miles more than what the odometer shows on the dash!!!! waste of time and $$...will return it. (had 2 other readers run same scan and those showed almost exact mileage (off by 1-6 miles)

Congrats on opening your own shop and from owning my own shop in past I would suggest starting off with Mucar vo6 ( same as the thinkcar mini or topdon artiag800bt and both include lifetime updates but you can purchase bi directional support if needed for $49 per yearper make but you may not really need it but it's nice to have the option with having to buy another tool ) and later on upgrading to a topdon Phoenix Elite. out of the box brand new it got stuck on no available network, i tried everything and didn't pass that, customer service sent me a bunch files and links and nothing work, cant use it, waste of money

I figured if it would do it I'd spend the 200 & have it for any other issues I may have. But as for the e85 gas, I can't even use the e85 bc the closest station that sells it is 65 miles away from me.

What did you mean about resetting limp mode? Are you saying that limp mode can be disabled using the tool so you can drive at full capacity?

It say yes but I've never tried. Lost of manufactures have their own lock lock for protection from odometer fraud.
