Last week we took a look at the ThinkScan Plus S7, so I thought it would only make sense to take a look at the ThinkScan Plus S5 and compare the two. While they look identical, functionality is quite different and in this video I go over all the special functions and supported system as well as compare it to the functionality on the S7. This scanner supports 4 systems, the ECM, TCM, ABS and SRS and has 28 available special reset functions for purchase.

I just ordered a S7 becuase of your review, great job. Hopefully mine shows up with a case the description said it will so will see. Im going to use it mostly for bmw, i went this route rather than Launch scanners

I got the S7 version but have problem setting it up. It always pop-up an "Network is not available!" error, though it is already connected on the wifi. Any thoughts on this?
saludos como estás.... podrías decirme según tu experiencia, que escáner me recomendarías entre el : THINKSCAN PLUS S7 y THINKSCAN SD6 después de buscar varios modelos de entrada gama media me llamaron la atención estos dos por funciones que traen y por su precio menor a 200$ . Ahora sí tú tienes otro en ese rango de precio que supere a esos dos excelente. Gracias de antemano. 🇨🇱

hallo bro can you check if it can support the old bmw 20 pin cable adapter does it communicate with old bmw from 1989 to 2000 like e34 e36 e38 etc,can you check please or try it,thank you and good luck
On 2000 e46 bmw it only does basic obd. All other tests show communication error. Other professional scanner worked without any problems .
can you skip subscription and still get use out of this tool ?
are obd functions working without subscription after year 1 ? are the 'free' service functions only free for year 1 or non expiring ?
are any service functions lifetime like EPB , OIL RESET etc thanks
You don’t pay subscription on anything unless you choose to purchase more functionality. All the ones that are included with the device or the ones you pic from the start are free for life and you don’t have to pay anything.

If you mean actuation tests, no. It cannot trigger components. Check out my ThinkTool Mini review for that functionality.
Can I view live missfires
Don't buy any of these you gotta pay for functions. Buy icarsoft the are better
