Absolutely love the vibe of this! The guitar might have a cardboard charm, but that's what gives it that rustic blues atmosphere. Can't get enough of it! 🤠
My sister was exchange student in Roscoe, Illinois in 1970 and sent me records of Johnny Winter and John Mayall to my hometown Bremen in the North of Germany. I was 13 at the time, took a scroll saw, and cut my acoustic guitar into a Les Paul shape to get the high notes, and practiced a thick callus on my fingertips. Blues was my introduction to serious guitar playing. Today, I grab my guitar from time to time and pluck away to relax. Yes I still like it, especially Your playing.
Sometimes to many notes are inspiring but not a necessity, reading between the lines gives focus to the unknown hidden within!

I had an old LG0 that I enjoyed quite a bit, but like so many others one day I decided it was time to "put it up for adoption"...I think mine was a '63. Nicely played Matthew, thanks for posting and sharing with us all.

If you had a solo album I would happily put it on my shelf between my Ry Cooder and J.J. Cale CDs, which live near my Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter CDs.

Had a 52 gibson in a vintage guitar shop on consignment back around 85 and the guy sold the shop without notification. There was no paperwork due to me knowing the guy. Won’t put all the info of that individual out there but sure wish it would have gone differently.

They don’t call my Gibson L-00 the Blues King without good reason. You’re in deep as a diving duck.
That guitar doesn't have what I would consider to be a great tone on its own, but it's very fitting for the music. Gritty, rough around the edges, and full of character. Perfect for some slow, acoustic blues.

To much buzz on that baby, sounds like the truss rod could be tightened a hair or loosened,possibly adding to the buzzing and tonality, still an amazing sound 👌🏻
