How can you not mention Ray Stevenson´s brilliant performance as legionaire Titus Pullo in HBO´s "Rome", like seriously?! May Mars look favorably upon you!
Chadwick Boseman was a great loss he had so much more to give and he was a great actor very sad. Ray Stevenson best punisher ever once again a great talent gone too soon. William Hurt will always remember him for alien another great talent. and Stan Lee without him all of this would have never been possible.
You know, in an episode of "Big Hero 6: The Series" in season two there is a tribute at the end of the episode that says "In Love Memory Stan Lee" in case you weren't aware of that before
The first clip, Darren McGavin, "the best known actor in the film" at 0:35, right as Ronny Cox, arguably far more well-known enters the picture (Deliverance, the main villain in RoboCop, Lt. Bogomil in Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, Cohaagen in Total Recall...). That's an oof from your editor and writer, Looper.
You must be pretty young, Durbanite2010. Darren McGavin was an actor at least from circa 1950 on into the 2000's. Arguably, he is better-known overall than Ronny Cox (whom I also like btw). In any case, Cox is still living I believe.
Annie Wersching died?i don't follow the Hollywood much but she was one of the very few actors/actresses i truly took time to watch her contents. I watched 24 and instantly captivated by her acting skills. We truly lost a star.
Not just the Marvel cartoons, tv shows, amd movies; also the cartoons, video games, and the Marvel comics we wouldn't have those things if it wasn't for the great Stan Lee. Thank you Stan Lee my friend, for all that you gave and the great joy you have given us. The Earth will miss you
Me and my brother-in-law and the rest of my family and friends were DEVASTATED when Chadwick Boseman died. I was also devastated when Stan Lee passed away before Chadwick Boseman did. I had NO idea that BOTH Micheal Lerner AND William Hurt have passed away. I had NO IDEA that he was in X-Men: Days of Future Past. I knew he was in Elf, but I had NO idea he was in X-Men. Last but not least, I was also saddened when Ray Stevenson passed away last year.
When it’s our own time I’m pretty sure we will be able to meet them in heaven it’s crazy how we’re just regular people actors or singers who pass I’m sure if we will be able to meet them😢
I am not at all surprised James Gunn had more family members in his movies, there is a picture of James Gunn next to the word nepotism in the dictionary
I had no idea that Lucy Gordon had died so young, since I thought she would already have been in her early 30's at the time of the third Spider Man film. Much less did I have any idea that she had even died (I didn't even know her name prior to clicking this video) 😬
Annie Wersching's death last year in late January effing broke me to the point I had an immense mental breakdown and confronted those who knew nothing of the actress. Of all the shows she was in, I only watched her on Marvel's Runaways. I first heard of her way back in 2011 when 24 was still on the air/close to being over. Had no idea she was also on Timeless with Abigail Spencer and on Bosch and voiced acted/mo-capped a character on the video game The Last of Us (which I am currently still not a fan of). Her final acting gig she did before she died was the Borg Queen in Star Trek Picard. I cannot believe last year I threw such an wild and out fit over her death the way I did. I never knew her, or any actor working in the industry, personally. To me, she was just.... There. Wasn't anyone major in the industry. Just there. Cancer sucks and that's just life. Had no idea Wersching fell ill of cancer and it was during the start of this dumpster fire of a decade and the Big V (Covid-19) of all things! Got to realize we will all die at some point, so will I. Just that, hearing the news it broke me. People was more about Elivs' daughter of a troubled singer heir than this actress at the time because Lisa Marie's death was more f*cking important. And? Ray Stevenson, on the other hand, also got me off guard at some point in 2023 too. While I did see him in the MCU in the Thor movies, I still remember he had a stint as the Punisher in 2008's War Zone movie. Had no idea he was when he isn't in some Marvel project, he would be doing Star Wars. RIP to both, especially Wersching.
I don't understand why Chadwick Bozeman is elevated above all the other sad deaths. Over Stan Lee? He was one actor amongst thousands who has sadly passed away. Yet he is put on some sort of pedestal like his death should be remembered above all others. RIP all Marvel actors.
Aside from the people already mentioned in other comments, also most of not all the actors from Captain America 1944, Robert F. Simon (J Jonah Jameson in the 1970s Spider-Man series), Campbell Lane (Baron Strucker in Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD), Andreas Katsulas (Kasha, one of the villains in Death of the Incredible Hulk), etc. There's definitely enough material for many videos on the topic.
Idk Annie from Marvel But Ik her from Timeless (She plays one of my characters of all time Emma Whitmore) And it was so sad she died. But it was also sad of all of these. May they all Rest In Peace 💖💖💖💖
Growing up, I never saw too much black superheroes. Black Panther was that guy. Hearing that Chadwick was casted to play em I was going crazy with joy. Seeing how he handled it as well, I couldn’t be happier with what we got and so thankful for a talent like Chadwick. RIP 🐐
Most of these actors were old, or older. The real tragedies are Annie Wershing and Chadwick Boseman, who were 45 and 43, respectively. Ray Stevenson was still only 58, but he died suddenly - I heard it was anaphylactic shock - and the rest were in their 70s or 80s. I only mention Stevenson because if I had to choose between going slowly in my 70s or in one day at 58, well...yeah.
May the rest with angels. Stan Lee-Generalissimo,Rey Stevens. And all who appear here. Each legend in their own right. Terrible what Gordon did to herself
I always liked Darren McGavin in addition to all his credits there was a tv series back in 1968 he was in that only lasted one season called The Outsider where he played a private eye it was pretty good to bad it was short lived as they don't get reruns.
I watched Black Panther 2 the first time and thought it was an alright movie. Then I watched it again a month ago and in my opinion it's one of the best damn marvel movies ever. Loki was also really good. And the "what if" are awesome. There is alot of the new stuff I haven't watched but here and there I'll give em a shot and like the ones I mentioned they turn out to be pretty freaking cool.
Lucy Gordon’s story is sad. She had recently lost her best friend, a gay British man, plus, her and her boyfriend were on the rocks. So she took her own life while her boyfriend was sleeping, it just goes to show you never know what demons are haunting people RIP
