Inspiring story! (And frustrating, I'm one of those who believes it utterly yet still has pain.) But as you mention, Tanner, the fear is lessened when you study neuroplasticity and I can ignore it a more and still dance - just not push it. There are so many people with chronic pain being told it's permanent and lifelong who have recovered - it gives us hope! Dr. Gabor Mate said, "If we don't learn to say "No" - our body does it for us." You changed your life, Kent - and the films ARE making a difference to the world by learning to listen to your body.

I'm with you there! I believe in pain reprocessing therapy and I'm still struggling, but trying to trust the process. I can still do a lot of things so I'm just trying to enjoy what I can do! Good luck on your pain journey xx

@@lydia6147 Yes, I love that I am dancing daily again after an injury yet sometimes frustrated when other symptoms keep cropping up. One gets better, the other gets worse. But listening to videos and success stories is so encouraging when I realize that's a normal part of healing. Good luck to you too, Lydia, on your pain journey! xx What a lot of wondrous things we're learning.

@@lydia6147 You too, dear! The process isn't linear, that's for sure. I have things get hugely better, then something else bites me. But I see some improvement, and I'm holding on to that. Best of luck to you too!
