- Come along as we reposition the Gulfstream 200 from West Palm Beach PBI to San Juan Puerto Rico JSJ. This was an empty leg with no passengers so that is why we are not in our normal uniforms. We were able to beat the weather in and had a good trip out the next day. Stay tuned and check back soon for more videos like this and for the upcoming TEACHING TUESDAY video with Captain Gary! Beautiful white cloud formations around the West Palm Beach airport and on your flight. You could sure see the storm approaching San Juan upon your landing.
Flying the Caribbean is always an awesome experience. The beauty is stunning. Glad the cameras catch some of it.

The camera is awesome but it does add a lot to the work flow when editing it into a multi cam clip project. When using it just by itself with the 360 editing app it is relatively easy and simply. Glad you liked it. Might inspire me to do more flights with it.

Yes, 12 exactly. At first it seemed like a lot but I’ve gotten used to it.
We had an awesome view for dinner that night but sadly the food wasn’t great. Maybe next time.

Thanks! Sometimes I wonder if people like all the extra B Roll so happy you mentioned it. I’ll try to keep adding it in whenever I get a chance to shoot it. The 360 camera is kinda like magic. Pretty wild how it works. Takes some extra editing and work but I think it provides some unique angles.

Good question: The Rudder Bias Actuator is usually a pneumatic actuator installed on the rudder control system of most business jets.
In the event of an engine failure, the rudder bias actuators provide additional yaw control power to alleviate pilot effort.

Next time call the flight time
With full passengers what does that do to the range performance? I hear full fuel only gives you 650lbs.
Significantly reduced by a good amount but your still getting 3k+ miles of range, depends on your preferences for reserves, etc.
