Thanks for detailed information. I am considering buying a G280. Now I know some history of mid size gulfstreams.
nice video
G200 is a hell of a lot of airplane for not much money, at current prices.
Agreed.
Becoming old now though. Maintenance and less eco.
g150 report ?
The 280 is a sexy beast. 😍
Great advice, keep them coming ,most brilliant business minded yet I've watched
The G280 depreciated 50% in 6 years.
This video is 3 years old so 3 years from now, after the G280 deprecates the other 50%,… it will be free.
That’s when I’m buying. 😂
The Preator 600 looks to stare the G280 dowm with ease.
Yes..............& G7500 to G650............still G650 is very very popular
Nice comparison video 😁😁
Great video and commentary. Keep up the great work.
280 or longitude go
280
Thank you for the excellent video. Appreciated.
Very nice. Thank you and Happy Holidays to you.
What is the maximum or minimum takeoff and landing distance in meters for Gulfstream 280.
Thank you for watching! The standard take off and landing distance at sea level would be maximum: 1450 meters & minimum: 829 meters.
The G200 had so many problems and so under performed was the reason NJets dumped them. They are not worth anything because of their poor reputation. BTW, the first release on the range of the plane was 3600nm. They thought they were going to make a 19000lb aircraft which they never got close to. So many weighed over 21k but even in the high 20’s you could put anyone on board at full fuel which meant the range was limited by every single person. A 2600nm mission was limited to 4 lighter people (20,600lb bow) and great weather at the destination. (No 200nm alternates here)
Dropping the UNS was a real shame. Changing the landing gear struts was a real pain. Tail shaking at (noticeable at lower mass) was a design error that they frankly gave up on because the 280 was in the pipe. So glad we are out of those but, for passengers they are nice. They don’t feel the vib as they sit near the cg. It is nice aircraft in the pattern if you don’t mind cat d approach and landing speeds. And be careful leaving the mountains in the summer. I remember we had a 10c limit to make DC non stop from KJAC.
I just wish they had a totally flat floor. For me it’s a real deal breaker.
Maybe the replacement will have Flat Floor
I'm wondering how the Citation X/X+ are doing on the used market. The X+ is particularly interesting since it's such a small run of aircraft but with totally new avionics so it's sort of orphaned. Is that a deal breaker on the resale market?
X are selling for 2.4m usd to 5m usd
x+ north if 4m usd
Suggest abbreviatd performance specs. for a more complete report. Example would be cruise, passengers, and range.
Canaan Avionics is bringing the Avidyne FMS to all the G200's, replacing with the Collins or Universal FMS.
Is the G200 a good buy? Or should I rather save for the remake G280?
Dennis, Excellent Analysis! Thank you!
How much do you charge to do research on transcontinental jet for Me? Based on 10 mill budget , for jet to go from Youngstown,Ohio to davo, phillipines? I want best resale value jet as to trade in after 5 or 6 yrs as I believe to have good 30 yrs left in me to fly
I charge 5 million. So half your budget.
Good report
Well done#น้องหมอหลิวนะ
Looking very nice.
Jeb!
Why is the Challenger outselling the g280?
because it has a larger cabin with complete flat floor and the baggage compartment, is accessible under all circumstances, whereas in the G280 there is a restriction of 40 000 ft, above the compartment is blocked.
No Hawker 4000 comparison?
Our Hawker 4000 video is now up! ruclips.net/video/Ym4_aQaNMtg/видео.html . Enjoy!
4000 is far superior in my eyes. I think the only negative is it burns about 30 more gallon a hour I believe.
