I work in a private bank with a certain “type” of clients. The ones that can afford to buy 10mil private jet. But hearing Steve is like going to school. A true gentleman and a real businessman
Do they have over 10mil when they finance/buy a 10mil jet, or less? Or way more? I mean they just finance because clearly you dont spend such an amount on 1 thing even if you have enough, right? Fr, I had a guy trying to nag down my 3000$ motorcycle to 2500 for almost an hour. That was just the time spent on the price, he took almost an hour inspecting it and couldn’t find any faults except that he didn’t like the color. I had plenty of pictures in the ad and you could tell the color of the 50 cars in the background, the eye color of the bird in the sky but somehow the color of the bike was a surprise for him.
Yeah. This is for many reasons. Once you get past a certain dollar amount - the minority wealthy people - they’re buyers, they’re serious, they know what they want and you’d never look for a Jet unless you have an intent to buy. Cars in the other hand, anyone can buy one with good credit bad credit cash, etc. millions of cars out there and people like me even look for cars often as a hobby and if I come across something I like but never planned on buying I’ll engage with the seller.

He makes it look easier, but that's because he's a damn master. A rich person doesn't want to lose time, money they got plenty, but time is always scarce. So, if the price is acceptable you are going for it, but there's a catch. Rich people respect a seller who knows his stuff, why? Because it removes uncertainty. If you are putting 10-20 mill into a purchase, and your seller can tell you from his memory immediately things like the age, the model, the range, knows distances between cities, knows maintenance costs, sizes, commodities, then you are saving time and above all have nothing to be uncertain off because you see a true businessman.
Steve's beauty lies not just in his eagerness to fulfill clients' "Want it now" demands but also in his ability to anticipate the long-term wear and tear, fostering quality, reliability, and strong client relationships.
I like how this guy is able to say yea, no, this will work, that ain’t. I’ve never actually had a boss that could do this consistently, have boundaries without being insecure about it.

Steve wanted the guy or girl, to have a real conversation face to face and find the best fit for them based on their needs, but from what the guy said the buyer just wanted to spend a certain amount of money, maybe a little more, to go from X to Y in a luxurious plane, that's it. In this case Steve has two choices imo, he could make the sale, by giving them what they want, but with the risk of them complaining later, because they find out luxury and number of miles aren't the only important aspects in a private jet, resulting in bad publicity or stand his ground and educating the buyer in making a thoughtful purchase, but with the risk of coming off arrogant, boring them or make them think he's wasting their time and ultimately losing the sale.
Dealing with anyone other than the decision maker, the end buyer is a waste of time. That's why he wanted her on the call. The next best was the accountant, who will improperly interpret the presentation. Once you reach this level of wealth there are people that cant trust weasels so their financial planners intercept all of these people for them. Kinda like the wil smith movie hitch.

I could be totally off, but from being in tech sales for a decade and having the prospect; A) hide the buyer, B) ask for info to be sent over, & C) seem over confident in his buying ability, in my experience these are people who are tooting their own horn and just making the call to feel important. Again, I could be wrong, but I'd be interested in discovering if a deal was really made. The royal family buying a 20yo jet seems off...
Big families. They aren’t all trillion sites or billionaires or even centi millionaires. They essentially get massive allowances. So she can live lavishly and doesn’t worry about saving money per say. Hence why she is using debt to buy a plane. I didn't understand why my return flight took longer until he explained how the wind makes the difference. I'm thinking, why is it taking longer when it's the same distance? He explained it to another person buying a jet, and that was informative. Never thought of it.
Question : from how much net worth wealth one can consider to buy a jet ?? 100 millions / 200 millions / 300 millions / 500 millions ?? / looks like rent could be a better ?? He should explain when one option is better than the other : buy vs lease rent !
It's not about money, it's about flight hours. If you fly under 300 hours a year it's better to rent, If more than that then you can start thinking about owning

You can bet that she’s going to have savings with this line of credit when taxation comes. I might be wrong, but this kind of brutal expenses allows her to have a tax deduction since now she is owing millions of dollars, while she can literally rent the plane half of the time and not even losing money. You know that she is truly wealthy when she’s not caring at all in these details and have smart people hired just to accomplish her desires. Is even kinda sad at some point lol
the other guy was very clear that the buyer doesn't want to engage in details, she has a budget a distance and a liking for fancy looking places. pretty good description i would say.
Hey, one of the scumbag Aristocrats who don’t want us to own our own car, but she wants a private jet and won’t even interact with the lower class. This is our ENEMY!!!
I was told to watch this, as I am a seller of fine automobiles. If this woman is from a royal family and she doesn't want to take the zoom call, that's understandable. However, if she doesn't want to buy the jet outright but rather prefers to make payments, I see major red flags. Although, I still lock down the sale.
The fact that the client is a woman explains so much. My cousin also got her laptop and car just based on the fact that she likes the color lmao. This client being royalty just gives her a bigger budget

This was absolute gold. 🏆 I am just at a loss for words, except thank you Steve for showing what a real Uber leader is like.. 'Walking the walk everytime instead of just making the talk!' Yea i am looking at all those lousy yap yap influcers out there. 😒😆
If your not from sales, it may be hard to note, but he speaks in a very different way when he talking with the final customer than with middle men like this. It's cool to see the change of tone
Could you explain?
@@spelunkyboy with customers you are more polite and catering to what they want to hear and convince them in a more soft way. With other business people you are more direct and to the point
@@igorluiz9551 thanks igor
Aircraft operator (pilot?) but he's not an expert on aircraft. Works for a royal family/high end client with business managers/ accountants/assuming lawyers as well but they have this non expert aircraft operator shopping and negotiating on their behalf. Got it
I thought I was the only one that saw that 😂
Caller sounded a bit fishy for sure
His negotiation skill is remarkable👍
I don't know if this real or not, I can never trust these business hustle type videos, but this was illuminating, definitely interesting. He's smooth
Steve you the goat (greatest of all time) 🐐
I liked how you kept trying to get in front of the accountants. They sign the check, the true decision makers in this deal.
Had that feeling too lol
Royal family that buys old and short range Jet? Doesnt sound like a royal choice tho
Big families. They aren’t all trillion sites or billionaires or even centi millionaires. They essentially get massive allowances. So she can live lavishly and doesn’t worry about saving money per say. Hence why she is using debt to buy a plane. She has cash flow but probably isn’t crazy wealthy inherently since she probably doesn’t care about building her own net worth to a massive degree. I see this a good amount at American universities
I didn't understand why my return flight took longer until he explained how the wind makes the difference. I'm thinking, why is it taking longer when it's the same distance? He explained it to another person buying a jet, and that was informative. Never thought of it.
Sounds like they were trying to do as little thinking as possible while making sure they don’t get screwed

My friends , now we know how big banks like credit suisse go kaput
I simply find this channel to be fascinating people talking Millions like I talk about 20 dolla bills
I really like Steve's sales style. Direct, easy to understand and gives space for the customer.
I liked how he asked for a feedback at the end I wonder how you manage if the customer dont call you back with their feedbacks. Do you go after them or just let them go?
Im sure its case by case, in this one he kinda said he will put effort to see the deal through, cause im sure by now he gets a sense of what is worth his time and what is not
@@archangelz558 Thanks for the answer. What I sometimes experience that customer interested, they promise to get back to you with their opinion but when they get the information they just dont bother to keep their promise. I understand that 95% of the time its because they are not interested to do business with you but there is 5% that they got distracted like their boss give them an urgent task etc. To be honest I feel like its more rare to get feedback as promised.
I work in much, much lower stakes sales and you pick up on serious customers versus non serious customers really quickly.
SAles Question - What do you do when you cant get the principle on the phone? I get this in my work too. You objection haldned once. Did you do a different technique after to get the prin on the next mmeeting?
Such a masterclass in professionalism
it's incredible to see the inside of a business like this
Some royal family from Middle East I am guessing have a hard budget of $10 million. 🙀
Amazing to discuss such dollar amounts
This is an excellent education in sales and how to handle different situations to close a deal.
This guy is just amazing!
That was beautiful! Thank you
To me it's crazy someone willing to spend millions of dollars doesn't even know what they want.
I Enjoyed the Video🍍🍍🌏
Like the content, keep it up
Love this kind of content!
How could you make a stop going from London to New York isn’t it a straight shot across the Atlantic? Only thing that would be a little closer would be Portugal but not by much.
I'm addicted to these vids
He has a very smooth negotiation style. I can see why he is very successful.
Not really, buyer knew what he wants, had a budget, anyone can do a deal like that..
@@iagree7388yeah,talking like a millionnaire on the internet must be fun
Perhaps should have done a client in "listen only" mode so they can hear the presentation and airplane.
FoA, congrats on your success. I really enjoy your content.
HOWEVER, I'd most humbly like to express my constructive criticism on the way he knowingly accepted an objection VERY EASY to overcome.
But before going forward I'd like to know whether other sales people out there saw it too.
And again, congrats on the channel and your apparently successful business.
What stands out to me is his expertise in the details of what he is offering. He doesn't have to consult a list. It underscores you really need to understand at a deep level what you have to offer.
Where do you make said stop on a london to nyc flight? Middle of the atlantic ocean?
Ughh even "rich" people overextending themselves like us poors with credit. Sounds like she gets an allowance, and this is going to eat into that.
@@Albert-dr8ig I mean if she's in the royal family (presuming arab), I'm going to think she doesn't pay taxes though
The richer you get the more people looking to get you into more debt
Me talking to my new project requests 😂🎉
Frame and Re-Frame. Excellent
My pops always told me if you don’t have money in your pocket it isn’t sold
Fax
Did your pops buy his first house with cash in his pocket or did he have a mortgage?
So true
What's is his " Cut " 💲💲💲💸💸💵💵💵
After he sells a Plane ?
Clients like this are always a pain. Says wants a deal that doesn’t need thinking but wants to present 5 completely different planes
the other guy was very clear that the buyer doesn't want to engage in details, she has a budget a distance and a liking for fancy looking places. pretty good description i would say.
sounds like her primary concern is a luxury interior, while some private jets are optimized for speed and business
What's your margin on jets?
Hey, one of the scumbag Aristocrats who don’t want us to own our own car, but she wants a private jet and won’t even interact with the lower class. This is our ENEMY!!!
I was told to watch this, as I am a seller of fine automobiles. If this woman is from a royal family and she doesn't want to take the zoom call, that's understandable. However, if she doesn't want to buy the jet outright but rather prefers to make payments, I see major red flags. Although, I still lock down the sale.
Probably a minor princess from the gulf with 10 half siblings, a great credit line, but no real pull or influence to be trusted with more cash.
Bro i am slowly becoming an aircraft dealer
Step 1: Own a $14M private jet.
Personally I couldn't get past step one, any help would be much appreciated.
The master sharing his masterpiece insight in dealmaking. Thanks.
People doing phd in mathematics and there is this clown . A master
I wonder which aircraft she did purchase- was it the Legacy?
imagine you want to buy a jet but than you dont want to choose the jet and buy the jet ?!!???!!!?
Nice dodge of the "we need a PhD thesis on 5 options". The hell you do! Haha, that sounds like real work without any value.
Credit Suisse collapsed though before this
Credit Suisse is still working, now owned by UBS
Does anyone know how he got into selling jets? Genuinely interested
Theres a podcast on google to wstch on eighticy
ill remember this when im in the market for a 14 million dollar jet but it definitely needs to have at least 5 miles range to get me to work
The fact that the client is a woman explains so much. My cousin also got her laptop and car just based on the fact that she likes the color lmao.
This client being royalty just gives her a bigger budget
Where do you stop between London and new York ? 🤔
Newfoundland
The guy on the other end on the call is the personification of the Lebanese middle man stereotype.
Step 1: Have jets
Step 2: Say price of jets
