The tight cabin killed the Citation X, nobody wants to fly in such a tight cabin for 6 hours across the Atlantic.
I’ve always loved the Cessna citation x and x+ I would love to have one some day
Excellent breakdown of the X Dennis. Very helpful. Thanks
The fuselage plug was only put in to keep from adding permanent ballast in the nose due to the addition of the winglets. I worked at the WCSC and did many of the pre and post weighing of the modded aircraft. Many of them needed a lot of Lead on top of the nose wheel well to make it work. Since the later aircraft were all going to have the winglets Cessna solved the problem.
Great series Dennis. I think I've watched (and rewatched) them all at this point.
Thank you Dennis for sharing your report
Thanks dennis we are waiting for the next x+ soon with the best records in the world
Great video! Love your channel.
i actually like the paint work
Thank you for video here about a aircraft.
oops, time for Aero 101. If winglets actually perform to contribute their lift is carried through the structure and many a business case failed to close due to the added structure into the center box as the load varies by the square of the distance of the arm. That killed the APB winglets for the 767, as it required too much OEW increase and too long to install the mod, it even required negative flap rigging through a complicated computer tied to the ADC and over $1.5M. ROI period sucks then.
Good review!!!
@6:59 you are wrong about winglets. They certainly do contribute to the structural load on the wings. And that is why we can't just bolt on winglets to a jet wing that was designed without that consideration.
Thanks Dennis! Been looking forward to your thoughts on the X.

This guy looks the spit of the American actor and friend of Julia Roberts ?? Clue Pretty Woman and this guy "Richard Gere"
Nice jets.
👏👏👏👏✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
They do not burn 450 a hour. More like 300-350
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Ten
So out of 300 jets, 9 written off.
About 3% write off. Idk anything about private jets - but 3% sounds scary high.
I think you are way off on those fuel burn numbers
You can double for Richard Gère
I thought nobody would mention it 😆
What a bargain for such a nice jet!
I wish cessna would have supported the X+ more…
I found Richard Gere's brother 😅
14.5% of men are 6 feet tall
