  • As it turns out, what was causing my particular failure, was the dimmer switch that is on the dashboard, where are the headlight on and off switch is at. Simply replacing the dimmer switch, fixed my issue.

Try disconnecting the battery cable for one minute and connect back, this worked for me

Instead of glueing connector next time just put alumox or a similar aluminum pin connection cleaner/dielectric. The oxidation can be so minor u see nothing but lack a good connection

I don't know how to work RUclips. But I would like to ask you a question. I have a 2003 Chevy, suburban. And my cluster is doing similar something to yours. But like the rest of my lights on the cluster doesn't come on and then another thing is when I put the key in the switch it doesn't have the doorbell dinging. Hope that you can reply back to my message of trying to help me out. I am a single mother with 4 children. And I don't know anything about cars.

No idea there. I dont do alot of diagnostic stuff. I do alot of showing solutions ive found to issues ive had my cars do. In your case, id check every single fuse in the truck 1st, and go from there.
