    I lived one winter in Colorado and that was enough. It's nice in warm weather but awful in cold.

    I retired to Florida from a northern state. I have no regrets.....Insurance is getting expensive but its still cheaper to live here than a northern state. We have modern infrastructure and very good hospitals.

      @@mylegalassistants good idea. Look at the cost of homeowner's insurance, car insurance and the general cost of living in different parts.

      I lived in CO all my life until I moved to AZ to be close to Mom. Check carefully. Rents & housing very high, traffic is horrible (only 1 major N/S highway), weather VERY unpredictable (some winters mild, some 15 major snowstorms), terrible immigrant, homeles, & drug problems. This is from my friends also who still live there. Was also first states to legalize pot. It's so bad, you smell it everywhere, even at lights with windows up. High drivers, too many young hippie wannabes, very unfriendly people overall. Good luck 👍

    I recall a comment that one issue with Florida is that some of the doctors move there essentially to "semi-retire" and are less interested and committed in caring for their patients.

    Warm weather, cost of living and low taxes would probably be my top priorities. Where does Arizona rank? thank you!

    • @Olga_StPierre
      @Olga_StPierre  День назад

      Hi there! Arizona is definitely in the top 10! Arizona is a popular retirement destination, with several of its cities ranking among the best places to retire in the United States. Scottsdale, in particular, is highly regarded, ranking sixth on WalletHub's list of best places to retire in the U.S., largely due to its high quality of life. Other Arizona cities also feature prominently in retirement rankings. For instance, Tempe is ranked 21st, Chandler 66th, Tucson 81st, and Phoenix 85th on WalletHub's list. Do you want more AZ resources? Please let me know.

      @AtHomewithOlga sorry,.....it's a song. I live in Georgia now, and the cost of living is very reasonable. Consider the north side of Valdosta. $1,400 per month for a nice 2 BR - 2 BA, gated community. No traffic jams, for us military retirees, there is a commissary and exchange at Moodys AFB. Just moved here 2 months ago. So far.....so good.
