“Slander” is by definition false. I think you meant “criticism”, as there is plenty of things you can say about the sequels being bad that is completely true. Also Luke’s power is totally irrelevant to his fight with Vader. He won by refusing to fight his father. He won by being a “true Jedi” and knowing where there is still good and when to have trust in that goodness. He basically gave himself up for Vader to kill if he wanted.
