as a local IATSE stagehand its awesome to see these videos, only a very small number of people actually get to see what we do. Thanks for sharing this.
I used to be proud of having a single axle band trailer . They got 7 trucks . So insane 🤘🤜🤛🤘 great video. Like a extra rig run down. Love to see more of these videos
I’m glad someone made a video of this behind the scenes work that goes into making a show happen for concert goers. This type of work is half of the work I do as a stagehand. I help load in and load out shows often in Seattle. I work for all different artists in all different genres of music but I’ve yet to work a PanterA call or any metal band that I actually like. I did work locally for Metallica when they played a show in San Diego in 2004. Maybe I’ll be on the local crew for Metallica with PanterA this summer here in Seattle. Anyway thanks for making this video!
I seen this Pantera tour with lamb of God twice in Toronto Ontario Canada and I've seen a lot of metal and rock concerts and this was definitely the best sound and lighting production I have ever heard and seen much respect to all the Pantera Crew
Bro, get you a camera you can wear, Like on your chest or head. Hands free and do ya buisness, Jus ideas, best set up vid I`ve seen. Thanks for the work .Love it.
hey bobby! its a slightly bigger setup than the chevy suburban and single trailer they used when i hung with them back about 40yrs ago in harker heights. tell rex that 3 legged larry said hi.
It's a dream of mine to work for the Pantera crew from Hell! Been a lifelong fan of Metal and Pantera fan since 1991! I was lucky enough to help build stages for 3 Doors Down once years ago in Glen Jean WV and loved it. Maybe one day I'll get the opportunity to put down the chainsaw and pick up the wrench again. Hit me up Bobby L. \m/
Have lived in Lexington Ky all my 67 yrs. I used to work and live 2 blocks from Rupp Arena, and was constantly running over to Rupp to get in line early when concerts were announced in the '70s lol....
This is very cool.Thank you so much for taking the time out to show us How much Work it takes to make a great show...awesome man...again very cool and thank you🤟😊🤟
I’ve seen so many of these type of videos but this is the best by far! I love this kind of stuff 🤘 now i want to go play some fretless bass PanterA style! I watched a cool behind the scenes video awhile back of “OBITUARY” which was really well done but this is by far the best, what an awesome group of people. Oh “Iron Maiden” has an awesome crew as well. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I know the black drape curtains belong to the venue which conceal the unused seats are already in-place. I'm curious if the motors and riggings to hoist the PA and lighting also belong to the venue? Does Pantera tour with two leap-frogging stage platforms and therefore have a set-up being put together while another is being broken-down? I'm also curious to know what the local crew is responsible for vs what the travelling band-crew does? Fantastic video Mr. Hell 2.0.
A touring production like this would bring everything they need for all motors, rigging, etc. I would suspect theres no leap-frogging with an arena show this size. Stadium shows of high complexity however, often tour with multiple sets of steel/staging, etc.
Dude.... this is turning out to be the best show setup video on the web. Thanks for being so thorough.
Absolutely
Pretty bad ass
Mr. Champion ! And Bobby "that's right" Landgraf !! Awesome job guys !!
