This is painful to watch, was so so excited to see these two deck but ryan played so odd imo, the play with wasteland wasnt awful but if the goal is to use wayfarer you can just pass and when john plays a 2nd land waste and then hold priority, not to mention forgetting to draw on turn 3 because he was so adamant about using wayfarer in the upkeep.
Glad you enjoyed it! The format is very fun and proxy friendly (mostly). There’s a main premodern discord that does monthly webcam and MTGO leagues if there’s not a local scene near you too!
@@Heavy_Play here's my question, do you have to use the cards printed in the years between 4th and scourge? I've noticed the original printings are much more expensive.
Most people prefer old border printings as it fits more with the spirit/nostalgia of the format but, like sanctioned formats, any printing of the card is legal!

Thanks for doing this. Old legacy player turned commander player due to selling my cards. This format makes me want to play a 60 card deck again.

I am really not a fan of Standstill but that was an amzing match 1! What a banger!
Great content and very good game!!
Hey how are fetchlands tapping for mana? Thanks
There's a Riftstone Portal in the graveyard. It lets all your lands tap for either G or W mana.
Goblin Grenade is not in Premodern.
Huh, for some reason I thought it had an ice age printing.
