For me the thing that scared me the most as a kid was Toy Story 3. It was with the baby doll, the incinerator, lotsos gang of toys, the camera monkey, the daycare at night, and when buzz was being tortured and had the batteries changed and all. Also one image stuck in my mind is the baby doll on a swing as something that scared me a lot.

I actually got into Goosebumps through the Horrorland series of books. I did remember borrowing entries in the original series from the library.!
As someone who browsed the internet as a kid, I used to be scared of Sonic.EXE.
Now, I have this idea brewing in my head of a creepypasta of sorts where the main character gets a game inside an SD card that contains a software where Mecha Sonic from SMBZ violently murders Sonic.EXE and variants of the freaky faker.

With your Matterhorn bobsleds story it reminds me of how I went on it as a little kid and apparently after going on it I was in shock or something. Really I just remember having a nightmare of going on the ride at night and going twisted an opening of the mountain and it having a down turn making you inverted for a while and as a kid I thought it was a real part of the ride. Also I was scared of space mountain due to it being in the dark and being rough mainly at Disney world. Also I remember being scared of the last chain lift of big thunder mountain due to the destroyed rails at the top.

The AC goes into a PTSD induced rage and has a stroke. When the TV avatar man is pulling pictures out of the file cabinet they are of partially nude women with star shaped pasties.
The brave little toaster was technically the first Pixar film, and Disney fired the head guy when he pitched IT as the world's first computer animated film rather than the later Toy Story.
The "Pixar Code" appears as the master's college apartment number.
The phone book scene is filled with the names of artists and animators and a few in jokes.

You have become a comfort RUclipsr for me! As a kid, aliens and robots terrified me. I live kinda in the middle of nowhere Ohio and was terrified of alien abduction and being watched. The fear of robots stems from the movie Zathura. I was terrified of that movie (it takes place in space so the alien fear was there) but there was a robot in that movie that freaked me out so bad I couldn't have certain electronics in my room. Like I had a crappy crt TV and DVD player in my room and I made my mom take it out of my room because I hated seeing my reflection in the turned off TV and the red light from the DVD player. Also going back to my fear of aliens and alien abduction as a kid, there's a very specific type of lamp that creeped me out as a kid because in the dark it looked kinda like an alien to me. It's that one lamp that is really skinny and tall and then the top is a white plastic dome facing towards the ceiling. In the dark it just looked like an alien silhouette to me LMAO. The fear of robots thing is funny to me now because I love animatronics and robots and it's one of my favorite interests! Aliens and alien abduction still freaks me out tho. Zathura like traumatized me as a kid lol
Edit: as soon as i commented. I remembered another thing that terrified me as a kid, that one episode of the magic school bus where they're in space and that kid takes his helmet off in space and his whole face freezes. That I guess also loops back to the space fear lol, but that episode seriously messed me up and freaked me out, cause even as a kid I knew that he would have died and not just have returned home with a cold lmao
Another edit: holy shit I just remembered there was an episode of the Tom and Jerry show that scared me shitless as a kid! It was an episode called invasion of the body slammers and it of course involved aliens taking over Tom and Jerry's bodies. That shit scared me so bad as a kid.

I'll list some of My childhood trauma. One was the intro for "Are You Afraid Of The Dark". This intro was terrifying for me! So I'd just skip them and never see an episode unlike with Goosebumps, its sister show in a way.
Another is a cat from the cartoon network show called " The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack" the one where they show the black eyes and sharp teeth. To this day that image STILL creeps me out!
As a kid I was never scared of King Ramsey's Curse in Courage The Cowardly Dog. In fact its my most favorite episode. My most favorite scene is when the record player comes on and when Courage finds it smashs it King Ramsey says "aww! Come on...!" However the episode I was scared of was an episode called "The House Of Discontent". I always hated that white floating head with the blacked out eyes! I was also scared of the pond witch episode because I didn't know how to Swim and when I tried almost drowned so that underwater scene where Courage has to save Ustace was unnerving to me!
Another one is the angles from mostly forgotten movie called "Neverending Story" where the main character from the story has the past these 2 golden angel statues and if he fails they'll zap him, killing him! They even showed a knight trying to cross but fails and gets zapped and we see his burnt face! The scene where the kid has to slowly cross for tension was also scary!
And lastly I was kinda freaked out by the Unsolved Mysteries intro!

Mine was that episode of Codename: Kids Next Door with the ghost hamsters. For some reason, the sight of the ghost hamsters running on their wheels scared the crap out of me when I was younger. Strangely, I had absolutely no issue with Courage or Flapjack. Those were just cool shows. My mom was worried about me.

Things that traumatized me as a kid:
Power Puff Girls: Speed Demon episode
Woody’s nightmare about being thrown away with the toy arms trapping him and pulling him under
The anglerfish in the finding Nemo movie
And for some reason I was completely unfazed by the clown and the air conditioning machine dying, don’t ask me why, I don’t know, I just thought “Well that was weird!” And moved on

When I was 9 I took out the book Night of the Living Dummy II from my school library. I took it home, read the full thing that evening, and left it on my desk before going to bed. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and passed the book and got so scared by the book cover I had to sleep in my mom's room.
I ended up hiding the book under my dresser for several months and wasn't able to take out any library books in the meantime. Eventually the school called my mom and asked about the book. I had to return the book wrapped in two plastic bags because I couldn't bear to look at the cover, despite having looked at it to take it out from the library in the first place

I'm never gonna forget one time when I was very little and went to Disney World with my family for the first time. So at Animal Kingdom, there was this ride called DINOSAUR right? My family wanted to go on that and I was basically told that it'll be full of friendly dinosaurs and so I was thinking "Maybe it won't be that bad..", BOY WAS I WRONG! That damn Carnotaurus gave me nightmares and lets just say, I started developing trust issues everytime we went to Disney World(Luckily got over em in like 2018/2019-ish). Funnily enough, I last went on it in 2021 and it still kinda scares me 😂
